Over at the other side Maze created a map of Azeroth. For those of you who've been living in a tree the last decade: Azeroth is the Warcraft world, in this case it's the WoW map, not really sure if older Warcraft games used the exact same map.

You can download the map here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=389792) and Maze also made a nice map of the Netherlands in this thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=389013).

From a tree-house inhabitant's point of view: This seems like an interesting, fairly equal (depending on the resources) continents map. Lot's of (useless) mountains though, so good land will probably be in very high demand.

You guys never even played Warcraft 2 (or 3 maybe)?

Personally I didn't like WC3 that much, you really needed to be a micro king imho to be any good. But WC2 is a classic!

Well, if you like RTS games a bit: yes you missed quite a bit. Warcraft 2 was really great for it's time.

Here's some gameplay footage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPQdS_jsVZU&feature=related) on youtube.

Garee with this.

I spend half my 2nd and 3rd university semmesters playing WC2 multiplayer, on the campus network and the other half catching up. Hah, the good times.
