Anyway, in the manual (http://downloads.2kgames.com/civ5/site13/community/feature_manual/Civ_V_Manual_English_v1.0.pdf) I noticed that a culture bomb is actually called culture bomb. With a suiting icon.

Couldn't agree more. They've been rare items in my games and when I've seen then it's been mostly by my own doing. Those rare occasions a comp threw one on me it really pissed me off.
