Well... I guess you could say I have been busy :P

As many of you know I was the owner of a manufactured housing retail center. That ended up being the wrong profession to be in with these economic times. We had to shut that down at the beginning of this year. The company was bleeding money and the short and mid term forecasts for the housing industry were not good...

This was good and bad I guess.. Good because the industry was killing me. I was working 70-80 hours a week in a business that was not giving back nearly enough for the time and effort I was putting in. Bad because I am the person in my family that had to shut down the family business after 3 generations of running a manufactured retail center in Michigan. Also bad because we had to figure out how to pay off all of our creditors with little to no income coming in. We had around 1.5 million dollars in floorplan and lots of outstanding bills.

So I guess that is what has taken me away from being online for fun purposes. My life has changed completely now. I am currently doing graphic design/web design stuff from home as a freelance. (I guess doing all of those HT logos paid off in the end :P) With in the 6months I have trained myself to created websites and have gotten myself an online home.

kMist Designs (http://www.webdesigner-michigan.com) is my web based home now. Take a look and let me know what you think of it. I am working diligently now to get myself ranked better in all of my keywords and working hard on SEO things.. I am constantly surprised what is all involved in the process.. if you are looking for a Big Brother out there I would point to Google.

I am going to throw the following in just for SEO purposes... Michigan Web Design (http://www.webdesigner-michigan.com)

Ok now that I have a good anchor text link we can move on... I will be trolling around here more and hope to catch up with what you all are up to these days...

Did you get rid of that highly dubious quote on your website ;) Anyway, nice to see you here again.
