If aggie and spartak are in we have 8. we could then play a halve competion and 1 final round. meaning we need 8 rounds. so start next week.

We could start next week anyway. So we'd have to make sure no one fixes a friendly for next week! I'll do some spam on hattrick.org, perhaps there are more willing contestants.
then we need to make a format friday so the weekend is available for arranging the freindlies

We once had a rule that accepting had to be done until Sunday evening, but that one should wait as long as possible with another friendly. As we have no written rules for this edition, I don't know what to do here...

Meh, the rules are the rules. After 20 editions I'd say it's clear enough what's meant to be.
I tend to agree with shabba on this. And I do not know if you all read the announcement on Hattrick, but it clearly states not to wait till the last moment to put in your orders and arrange your freindlies, becuase of possible downtime on Monday.

And on a similar note I lost again against DSE so I now have zero out of 6 with 3 goals for me and about 30 for DSE. The good news is I only lost 2-3 this time.

Ha, Bing Bling Nauta slaughtered De Burchtheren. A pity De Burchtheren slaughtered my wingback trainee, but it's worth it. I got to beat up Andre Rouvout, I bet I get massive kudos for that feat.
I wish to rain on your parade a bit. The score is not official until the organizer of the cup puts the results in the thread that is supposed to hold the scores.

Hm. I'll check the admin panel, but I think the underlying problem is that messages edited by admins aren't marked as edited. A simple solution is to simply post "updated" in that particular thread.

thank the poll monkey for the glassses, I can now see the tables and that there are 16 victories and only 14 losses.
I also see that although I played only 4 matches and lost to shabba FC and Deep Space Elm,
I managed to win 3 and loose only 1 game. Clearly frustrating my already feeble attempts to win the TafkaBa.

Thanks for reminding me, apparently my closed loop system is not as closed as it is supposed to be. I will review this internally to prevent reoccurence.

Yes, but there's no ruleset for friendly cups.
There is an old thread regarding the CDZ-cup, that states that the standart HT-rules will apply. That you wish to ignore earlier consensus and change the rules after the game, just becuase you are lazy and can not add a few numbers, is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
