We only have 8 teams this time so we can play everybody and have play offs the last two weeks between the seasons. Should people have arranged friendlies already please lemme know so, we'll start next week then and have only 1 week for the play offs.

Explanation:
- you play the team with the same letter (and color)
- Capital Lettered team plays Home match

Rules
- when a challenge isn't accepted by sunday night 20:00PM, Amsterdam time , you're free to take on another match. Opponent will suffer a 5-0 defeat.
- challenger is to post this event in this thread.


Update - beginning July
- New schedule to include week 0. Shabba, Barbu, Swingue and ProPain have the 2rd week of.other players have week 0 to themselves :)
Update 31st of July
- last week (week 8) we won't have play offs but Shabba will play against Swinguestars.
- In the event the Shabba - Swinguestars match won't make a difference in the final standings we'll have the play offs anyway.
Update 25th of August
- Updated results and standings
Update 6th of September
- Updated results and standings
- Shabba wins 19th edition!!
- Final match between Shabba and Swingue wont be played as it doesnt matter anymore
- I was confused when I saw cup matches are starting next wednesday. I thought that would be a week later. So no play-off round, Sorry people.

PP returns vs Shabba is challenged and apparently so is Barbiers vs Swinguestars

If the other teams can quickly tell us if everything went well than we are all set.

It's a bit late to start now, since apparently the majority usually do not wait until Sunday evening with booking friendlies. Next week 21st-22nd might be better IMHO.

I dont see any problems with that. Barbu do you wanna play another friendly next week as well or 'replay' the match vs swinguestars but then officially?

Then I have a favour to ask.

I'm not sure I'll be able to accept the game on July 29. could you swap the schedule so my game against swingstar take place on that date? The game we'll play today will count as a game on that date.

Made a new schedule, easiest way was to move the upper 4 teams ' a week to the left' for the first 3 weeks. So Shabba, please don't book an otside match next week but in week 3

But july 29th is actualy on week 2 of you new schedule, not week 3!

My mistake, then week2 -> week3 for upper 4 teams, leaving week 2 as a blanc week. Will update the schedule asap

I'm still not sure what the schedule is, but I think I have to play a game against Barbu. I don't think he knows either, since he didn't challenge me. So I'd say we play each other next week, as we don't have a match scheduled then. Right?

If you read barbu's posts on this thread, then it might be clear...I guess, it is supposed this way, that you play barbu next week.

I was on vacation. PP was supposed to update the schedule so I have a bye this week, not next week.

I still have today to accept a game from someone who has not scheduled a game yet!

crap, something went wrong with the schedule update. Will look into it asap. 1st for teams had a by this week, not last week. somehow I made a mistake changing the pic. Will do damage control now.

Okies, updated schedule posted. It seems BCLG isnt accepting, I mailed him. If he picks up his games that's fine, if not everybody will be rewarder a 5-0 win against BCLG united. The match between Shabba FC and Swinguestars went wrong, dunno if this is due to the mix-up or if someone didnt accept. Shabba/Swingue can you explain a bit here.

Depending on the explanation we'll see how to handle that one.

All other matches are planned/played. Added a more comprehensive schedule beneath the 'color table'

Will add a standing table after this week.

somehow missed the post you already booked a match in HK

Easiest would havebeen you playing Swinguestars this week, but you alrdy have a match booked. I challenged swinguestars this week to move swingue up a week and create a 'hole' in his schedule to fix this match.

Will puzzle on it today.

EDIT: Had a quick look and it all depends on BCLG joining or not. If he moves in, we can't move in a match because Shabba already used his 'free week', which means he needs all remaining weeks to play the other teams. Solution:you get a 0-0 draw. Not ideal, but best I can do.

Should BCLG not react before friday in my mail. I'll remove him from the schedule and puzzle a new one. This will be done on FRIDAY, PLEASE ALL REFRAIN FROM CHALLENGING AND ACCEPTING UNTILL THEN!!!!

Ah, relax.

Just thought up another solution. We can also skip the last 'play-off' round. We only have one week left any way. So if we skip that we can have your match that week and let the final league standings count.

If I am not mistaken, you wouldn't have a week 8 anyway. Week 7 is after qualifier matches and AFAICS the following week already belongs to thenew season which means that national cups are starting then.

BCLG replied on my mail that he's on holiday but accepting challenges.

Just reassembled my laptp after a thursday afternoon coffee spill. Everything seems to work allright, backed up all files 1st however including the CDZ cup files.

Yes it's over and Shabba is our glorious winner !![party

This week cup matches are starting so we don't have the room to do a play off round and the last match between shabba and swingue was useless anyway. Shabba would become 'more' first and swingue would become even more last :D

NO envy, this years cup was not worth playing. Next/coming season I will be envious again, since I will be playiing the cdz cup again.

I was almost there but switched last match into passing training regime which paid off quite well (had 4 players advance a level) and thus lost to ProPain.

That explains, cause I was totally surprised by that victory.
