So what do these star ratings (http://www86.hattrick.org/Club/Matches/MatchLineup.aspx?MatchID=29290027&YouthTeamID=1359930&isYouth=True) mean?

Mr Fredje Hecht, freshly promoted scores 4 stars on midfield but what does this mean skill wise? Same for my forward Wieger van der Wel, 3,5 stars what skill level is this.

Also all skill levels are still at unknown, am I correct in assuming these aren't updated yet? Or will they update only after training or level ups ?

Fredje Hecht (http://www86.hattrick.org/Club/Players/YouthPlayer.aspx?YouthPlayerID=59886336) seemed a man among boys in that aerial challenge, following Cornelus Zwagerman (http://www86.hattrick.org/Club/Players/YouthPlayer.aspx?YouthPlayerID=60169159)'s corner kick. He rose high to head home, bringing the score to 2 - 3 after 70 minutes of play.

Does this mean Hecht has/might have head specialty?

Questions, questions :)

I think, there is a rule of thumb, that if a player makes 4 stars regularly then he is about weak(=4) in his main skill. But in opposite to the senior team, stars are variable, i.e. the stars shown might be somewhere between his current skill and his max skill.

You get a training report about 24 hours after a match and for some players, the urrently trained skill is revealed then.

it normally means he has head specialty.
