weird game it is. Played a few rounds but finished only one game. Score was in the 50K region, way below top scores. I wonder what ups the score best.

By finished you mean won? I won one game after a lot of tries. I think it's a lot easier if you can start on Madagascar. I guess games can be quicker then, and you get higher scores.

I've got about 80k, i managed to get madagascar a couple of times but then some other bastard country on an island fannys around.

The game is too much about luck imo- theres no skill at all.

Apart from madagascar and new zealand i managed to wipe out the rest of the world.

23.7M alive vs 6.3B dead is a victory in my mind. Get every single region is just down to plain luck

I tried to keep the symptoms as small and minor as possible so they don't start closing borders quickly, but there is a large element of luck involved. In one game i actually got Madagascar infected early on but then i missed rest of Afirca:rolleyes:

I didnt kill the world, but most of it. I wasn't really aiming on a total kill but on a high score.

Playing normal mode as well.

I think you have to keep a low profile (sell all symptoms) and save your evolution points. You'd have to infect Madagascar first, because they close their port the quickest. Rodents help spread through ships; at least that's what I assume, because it makes sense. And I have a suspicion waterborne and moisture resistance are triggers.

It's a boring game - the disease points build up way too slowly in the late game.
