turn 62:

Met french (mel), zulus and persians. Also the aztecs are around
but I do not have communications yet. It seems that the persians
and zulus are at war atm. French are bigger then me and 1 tech ahead.

turn 71:

A few turns ago I bankrupted myself to get Map Making from the Zulu's. Now it turns
out that there are only the French (Mel), Zulu's, Aztecs and Persians around. I miss the money I
would have gotten selling maps and contacts... :( Anyway, the Aztecs have an ocean of land to
fill up... I still do not have maps of Mel's lands.

ERIKK, I recently found out what the white outlines around the city pop means.

I am a little suprised to see you let the governor choose where to put your citizens. [:o]

I noticed this as well in most of your spoilers (all of them?) are you playing with "governor on" in our game too ?
:D

Not always, but yes most of the times I do. I micromanage finishing turns on production and
growth matters (speeding up a bit). But I am not counting out every piece of production to see
if I get much waste or not...

Yes Sky I do!

Well I guess I just figured out why I can overtake you in the industrial era. [satan]

Micromanaging every turn gives me a headache...

ERIKK is just pulling our leg [eek], is he [confused]

hehe no, I am not counting out everything and micromanage, if needed some of all cities and if
needed, ending stages on feed or production and, ok, if the governor does something stupid like
selecting forests when growth is needed!

Wow ! I find it amazing that you have governors on all the time but it's a credit to you
being able to play so well with them.
We had an SG running with CB, Meldor and Hotrod with Governors On all the time for all cities
and we considered it a difficulty variant before we started playing; its true however that once we played
we crushed the AIs so badly it was not as hard as we thought... [scratch]
The one thing though is that when you do not agree with the choice of a governor if you manually change a tile it will automatically turn the governor "off" but you seem to have them on all the time no ? So how do you do that ? and how often do you veto a governor choice typically ? [confused]

Only when it is needed and I remember to put the governor back on again when prod/growth is
finished. It is about 10% of the cities. Not to much to handle ;)

I am lazy you know... ;)
