Anarres, I would appreciate it if you nerdulated some option to set the forum clock in your own (well, my) timezone. Also, if you could manage to make a clock that runs on time, you'd have a feature at which this forum is better than CFC[:p]

btw, how about avatars?

avatars are in the making IIRC ;)

I would like to second Shabbaman's idea. Even though I know how to tell European time its still annoying. And please, if u do do it, try to make it right, not 15 minutes fast like CFC ;)

You want it to be CET and not GMT???

Are you mad?

When I've added polls to the forum I will set one up, and let the people decide.

No, I mean have a chance to have it in EST time if I want it and to have a 12 hour clock, not like times like 15:50 or 23:25. I'd like it 12:00-12:00. I just like this system better.

Better? AFAIK there are 24 hours in a day... :D

Me too, I'd like to be able to set up the time according to my timezone, like on any forum. This should take summer saving time into account as well. Would you do it someday, anarres ? I think it's top priority.

Good idea for pbems with those loony Americanos.

Someone beat up Krys for bumping an OLD thread [:p]

It's also better to not have to add or delete an hour each time you read a post. Forums' times can be messed up or can be set up in different times. So the more forums in MY time, the better.

Hehe, I find it better and funnier to bump an old but still "in the air" thread than starting one every month about the same subject. Threads with just a few posts aren't cool, and duplicate threads are annoying. Please free to bump other old threads, I'll probably do it from time to time when I get bored and when I find something useful to say. [:p]

Hehe Krys, I was just kidding around. Since at some fora the moderators tend to strike down on people bumping old threads...

Ah, I took your "someone beat up krys" for "someone bump another thread before krys bumps them all". I found it funny but I got it wrong, I misunderstood the use of the verb "beat" (you know, like in "beat me to it"). I also found it funny to bump an old thread without making any remark about it and without funny comments inside.

[cry] Sorry, I'm trying to be funny, but it doesn't work... Could we have our timezones now ? [cry]

If I get time for anything it will be to allow you to set a timezone, so you can see all times in your own timezone.

There is zero chance of changing the timezone per forum as the shared fora wouldn't benifit from it at all.

BUMP. [smokin]

Of course I'm not asking a time for each subforum. Just a time for each user, like on any board, will do. That's the logical solution and the thing I want most. Any dedicated member to the forum will be happy with this feature, and we mostly live in GMT+1. Doing the 1-hour math all the time is annoying. Thanks anarres. :)

Agree with Socrates on this one, since he has such cool sunglasses and all.
I always forget what timezone this forum is, and get confused...

I think you already explained me (surely in the CFC chatroom) ; your nick comes from Pericles and something else, right ? And I see you use a Pericles avatar on other boards. ;) One day I'll ask for a fight, ô you the personnified irony of that idea you call Democracy... [fdevil]

EDIT : BUMP :(
