Just wondering what kind of player you are. Self describing misses the mark sometimes, but we'll get you straight if you lie ;)
I'm just apathetic I think. Most of my pitboss games I've tried to get a small core up and tend not to be aggressive. The only pitboss game I've won though was because I was aggressive and didn't entangle myself with diplomacy too much. Actually, that was the only game I've ever been aggressive in and all my others I made peace deals too early and too often.
Just asking cause after not playing civ much, other than a turn a day, I've started getting the bug back.
Well, you've got to put the shades in here. Sometimes, being aggressive is beneficial, sometimes it brings nothing but your own demise. So, I'd say, the balanced category is missing here.
Compared to you apathetic. But I voted builder. Still aggression is the way to go to get a high score as well as win a MP game, so I'm trying to change that.

If I put a choice for "balanced", then everyone would pick that one. Because everyone thinks they do it just right :) I just mean for the most part what kind of player are you.
I'd say campaigner. That's builder most of the time but always ready and looking for an opportunity to strike. Then when the campaign is over go in builder mode again until the next campaign.

I voted apathetic. It seems most games i tend to be agressive but thats normally because im forced into it, through location, other players, boredom!

For the most part, I think I'm doing what is required of the game. If more land is needed, I think I can be very aggressive but once it is settled, I'll switch into builder mode. Offense is very hard to pull off in Ci4 unlike Civ3.

I'd say 'balanced' for myself. I used to be a builder though, but I'm getting more agressive with each game I play...
I'll be different and go team player. In most of my games i've always look to find someone i can make a deal with that can help both of us out to improve our standing in the game.

I'm definately a builder. But I'm easily annoyed by my neighbours, which might lead to occasional aggression. . Especially when they settle on spots I'd like to settle. Don't settle and you'll have no quarrel with me.

Builder, as you all know. As I think of it, maybe because I played SimCity first, before discovering Civ back in the 90s ? :confused: Tend to be aggressive if someone is getting on my nerves, sometimes the battle is fought till death. Still, I prefer to build build build. That's why I suck in multi, and also in RTS games. Now I don't play anymore. :D
I discovered simcity first also, yet some would say im aggressive. Weird.
