Thread so you can follow the progress of my little portion of the Lambda world.
My little drug cartel so far consists of 4 little towns...
The Lab 1 and Crankton 1 Bada-Bing
Edit: We can now add CatHouse1 and Chopshop1 to the list of Cartel Locations
My current goal is to expand the Palace in The Lab to size 2 so I can get a 2nd colony. Sheesh is that expensive.. Then I will need to save enough again to get a colony going.. there have been some recent openings around me on close wine islands that will definitely be my next location..
Anyone have a good idea for my next town name? I was thinking SpeakEasy1 or ThePub...

Palace level 2 is building now.. I should have enough materials tomorrow for my colony.. I am just keeping my fingers crossed for the location on the wine island next door to stay open :D
once I get that done and my governor residences up to speed I will be able to start donating to the mines and mills..
Big news in the Mistfitzian Cartel this morning.. construction on a Strip Club Bar was started on Curiios[60:51] this morning. The Bar will be named "Bada Bings" (thanks grahamiam) and will help supply wine-hookers-strippers and general debauchery to the rest of the cartel
I made myself a sig for the Irariam Board..

heh.. well as a little update.. I am expanding my palace as we speak so I can plunk down my 4th town.. I hope to find a close marble island to help with that production.. I guess I can always buy sulfur. But I will need to see what is available once I get the expansion done.. then it will be a stretch to get the rest of my GR's up to par as well.. I am researching up to cultural exchange so.. get ready to exchange some culture with me :D
Then it will be bee lining to helping hands to overload the saw and lux farms..

You are faster than me with expanding. My marble island is lagging awfully.
ok.. do I wait to find a local marble island or take the first one I find even if it is 4 hours away?

I wouldn't settle that far away. I'm too impatient for this. Ties up a lot of ships and action points.

I have found that it is easy to expand quickly if you get on islands that already have 13-15 other towns. that way they have paid for a significant amount of upgrades to the saw mill and resource mine, but you guys prolly already knew that
The Lab = Crystal
Crankton = Marble
Bada-Bing = Wine
New Town = Marble
4th town finally down... what to name it?
I think I am going to go with CatHouse 1

I sent a decent sized package. You might want to build a warehouse to make sure that you have room for everything, if you already haven't.

I have 350 units in each resource with a max capacity of 800.
Will that do?

yeah. 600 wood, 150 wine and marble, and 300 sulfur. I'd recommend getting to wine press as soon as you can. I have a city that is euphoric with +7 people per hour. :)
Wine press will be researched in 19 hours from now :)
I want to build some phalanx, so after Wine press i want to research the war techs so I can build them in my barracks. Is that a good plan?

Better off going into science... if you have any problems and need military assistance I will help you
though I doubt you really will need it

Nobody is attacking me.
It is just that I feel so naked with only 2 slingers. I could train more of course..

Don't worry about attacks.. when and if someone does attack they don't carry off much. I wouldn't even have slingers while you are growing. If I were you I would either select science or economy and let the geeks noodle on those two for a week or two.

He should be careful. More than 6 times in 24 hours is bashing.
Do you have a few ships, so he has to blockade your harbor first?
Did you downgrade your trade harbor to 1?
Have a few more spies, so he won't know what he's up against.
yeah.. my bad on most of those.. I did demolish my harbor down to size one.. and I have a ship on the way but had not built one there yet.. and no spy hide out.. now that I am a target for the #4 alliance I guess I will need to be more careful

update on the Cartel
The Lab is size 12
I am going to try to keep my warehouse at the same size as the town hall and wall so when I get to size 14 I can start working on a 5th town...
Crankton is size 12
This town was under attack but with help from small and A-O that has passed. This town has the level 3 GR so it is still kicking out the marble for me.. lots and lots will be needed for the next expansion
Bada-Bing is size 11
Working currently on the size 12 wall so I can get this city up to size 12 as well.. This is an amazing island with its lvl 15 mill and 13 vineyard.. I will start working the lvl 3 GR next once to size 12.
Cathouse is size 8
My second marble island growing pretty good and will be used as a feeder for BadaBing to build the GR
