Lets dissect the opponents shall we. Oyzar, IanDC, Unconquered Sun, Dandridge, BCLG, Dandridge are all pretty good players from what I can tell. Oyzar tells me Levgre is pretty alright, and Mauer of course can rise up and smack someone if they arent looking. Bamf has some interesting traits I guess with Chokonus, if he/she makes it that far.

And I forgot, it is quick speed. I am Elizabeth of India, combining fast research and fast workers, what a nice combination. To my NE is Oyzar, of Ethiopia, SE is Simon, South is Levgre, and North is now Dandridge (was Whiplash).

The game so far has been slow. Whiplash attacked with a warrior early in hopes that my capital was undefended, but always keeping a warrior in the queue pays off and he retreated and asked for peace which he got. My exploring warrior then encountered his unescorted settler on the turn when our peace ended, so I declared and took it. He began to have computer problems and was off and on, and either he or the AI sent a worker out that was also confiscated. Dandridge just declared on him and ended the Arabian empire with information supplied by me. Dandridge agreed on a settle line of Whip's capital so we are looking ok there.

Simon killed the host Indiansmoke early with a woodsman warrior, and now looks to have 4 cities. I am just buildig my 3rd city, and he tells me I have iron by the capital so Im researching IW.

On the tech front, I have writing, CoL from Oracle, and should have math after IW and on to cats.

Order of business is pumping up my somewhat crappy capital with cottages, and heading to CS while building up a giant army to defend against any Oyzar machinations or anyone else from far away. I am content at the moment to grab some land uncontested and outresearch the others for a while. Scientist due in the capital in 2 turns, hopefully its not a priest. That about sums it up.

Does anyone want to take over my position in this game? I came back after my 2 1/2 week hiatus, and things were still good (only went from 1 to 3 in gnp); I had asked the host to put me to AI but he did not.

After I played 3 turns coming back, I now cant connect. So rather than dig through Hamachi forums and struggle to get it to work if someone else can take over I will ship you the PW.

Its a pretty interesting game. You have good science and did have a decent army but the quick speed settings mean that changes quickly.
