So anyways im China, picked qin for my leader for the bonus industrious trait which so far i have made absolutly no use of whatsoever but hopefully we can change that soon!

Beam who is the khmer is the first to feel my wrath! mainly because i signed a very early long term peace deal with killercane who is the Mongols. Initially i went for a quick chariot rush but found that didnt work so i built up my forces and instead took him out systematically with chariots etc.

Both times akots got on my back attempting to play power broker which is quite infuriating-more of that later.

This one was cancelled by cane and will be gifted to me later on just right now i dont have the manpower to completly defend it from akots. Cane went to war with beam so akots would not be able to send him stuff after akots stated cane couldnt trade with me when we went to war.

They're damaged as last turn they attacked two units i landed there and lost one unit, i can quite easily play the numbers game so beam should be dead soon. I feel a bit bad about this as its no fun ruining someones game and could be the second host i've eliminated in as many weeks.

Naturally mine are shit whilst in anarchy, due to the limited nature of my spying im not sure who is leading in all this stuff but its either cane or iandc i do have quite the edge in mfg especially when my bearu starts kicking in so i should be kicking ass within about 50 turns so long as all goes well.

At the beginning of the game i swapped cane a scientist for what would be a GS, i got it

So far i've managed to steal three techs from him, CS, currency, and something else i dont recall. He knows im doing this due to the ally thing.

Now the diplomatic jibba jabba.

Akots has been communicating to me whether he knows it or not through cane. HE basically wants three cities i've already captured from beam, so basically beams empire. Naturally he can go do one, he's trying to bluff me as the units he has outside the rocker are pretty much his entire nation force apparantly as cane has been scouting, im contemplating whether it will be worth me just moving through him or stopping and rebuilding.
Next turn apparantly cane is DM;ing through akots territory to reach graham (Egypt) who has a very nice shrine/pyramids/zeus city. Now i want a strong ally but im not sure if i want someone that strong, so i may tip robi d or ynnek off so they can move against graham also. it should be fairly easy for cane as he has a dramatic tech advantage however simply time and distance will slow him down. I dont want iandc also picking up the pieces as he is leader for the moment!

In the Americas it is blatantly obvious that Matrix and nitro have an alliance going to perhaps share victory or at the very least help each other out, as is proved by the spoiler diplo thread. Whether that will include nitro i don't know.

As for darkness i'm not sure where his loyalties lie, he helped akots kill dandridge so i imagine they have something covered but i dont think cane will have left himself open to attack and will have himself covered.

Any chance of an update on how you are doing, killercane mentioned in his spoiler that he has given you 15 turns warning. Akots and Killercane seem like to formidable opponents.

Ill try but basically all production with the exception of my cities i've settled on Japan has switched to cho-ko's, i should be able to hold them off for a period but im not sure for how long.

Right the first thing is that every city with maybe the exception of the capital is lacking a lot on the infra front, thats because i have been at war now throughout the game, akots still wont come to the table but whatever i've outgrown the need for peace now. Im planning on making codyfunkytown my GP city if i ever can and well maueropolis2 my unit city, maueropolis was my unit city and it was quite nice until akots managed to raze it. He managed to get a stack thhrough the mountains which was annoying as it means i have three fronts to defend but ohwell, he also managed to wreck the area around my capital and i've only just finished sorting that out. luckily my capital had heroic epic in it so even with pretty much every tile ruined i was still 1 turning the majority of troops.

Another problem is the complete lack of economy i have, even in my GA im not even above average for GNP- if i could i'd attempt to run an SE but generally any spare citizen is roped in to building units and whipped away- i have whipped quite extensivly. Even now when i would like to be building a bit of infra in what seems to be a lull in the fighting i notice akots has whipped away at least 5 pop so i have to maintain military production pretty much nationwide.

Thats the economic front, heres the military front, the only area where i perhaps have an edge over the competition.

up until a few turns ago it had roughly 10-15 more and better units in, therefore i can only assume he's making another run at my capital, either that or he's trying to attempt me to attack with my units down there.

So i have enough to defend the south for quite awhile, the worry is the middle and my capital but with 1 turn muskets i do think i should have enough especially with my prtoective bonus.


Now what with kane going to rear his offspring his mongolian civ was left dormant, something which those the other side of the world did take quite a large advantage of, i did send him a PM saying i wouldn't attack until he got back, now though i have no idea when he's getting back and his civ is being controlled by shabba i felt it was ok for me to finally go on the offensive! after thousands of years of waiting i can finally unleash my cho ko's offensivly!!!!

This is another annoyance i've found, i've produced about 10 spies in total this game and sent them off to the same few cities but they've all been found within a couple of turns- its been such a waste of hammers whils other spies have been running amok in my land!

My plan of attack is this, if i manage to take the capital with acceptable losses i will hold on to it and proceed like this

right now im in charge of the narrow strait but that has see sawd quite a bit, im building up a decent attacking squad in beams old city, i nearly razed a city last time but he just about managed to get some covering troops in there!

It is akots in 2nd place, that or ian but eitherway they have a similar powergraph so i don't hold much of an advantage but unlike me he has friends to his rear and isnt' at war with someone else, what i would do for an ally! i've tried asking darkness but he has been non commital.

from what i can tell ian is the tech leader by awhile in the top part of the tree (he's in emancipation already) whilst ian is just leading at the bottom (having steel). Akots was first to liberalism however but as i have none of them techs im not sure where he's heading!

I hope to get to grens because they can't really be beaten effectivly till infantry so i can grab them and build a few then hopefully concentrate on some infrastructure!

yep. thats fine, I seem to be having problems with links to imageshack, but that doesn't bother me. You seem to be banjaxed for allies, what about Matrix, he has been able to attack Africa as we have seen in the open thread, it must mean he can transverse oceans, have you asked him at all?

We have a NAP for awhile i think but really in a no tech trading game he's too far away to be of any use whilst i think he's much happier to let me, akots and killercane slug it out for the time being. I sort of have a kind of ally in robi d but he's really too small to be much use also.
