I was selected the Zulu (Aggr, Exp) who got Impi for Spearmen and Ikhanda for barracks (which reduce maintenance which might be nice if I get a little bigger)

UU which is old very fast (maybe I'll use this to get Mali under my control)

It is 3080 BC. I have met grahamaiam and Ian DC (Egypt and Mali) anf founded 2 cities (we started with 2 settlers, 1 worker and 2 warriors, one of which was sent to explore)

I am currently researching Hunting to get my UU.

A) is a good defensive position and terrain grabing, no fish
B) Fish and horses, good bonuses
C)Terrain grabing, horses and possibly cultural fight for fishes in the north.

Wrong answer, I settled 1 N of B.

That way, you have access to the ocean and get the fish bonus. I know you loose a FP, but still have access to 4 of them.

Changed to Pacifism. Don't know if it is really worth it, but I have +34 GPP in Plood Flain atm.

IanDC (Mali) still has the tech lead but has been hit by Matrix.

In the meantime I had a short war vs Ian.

Some of his troops were in Europe and Robi was looking like needing some help. NHJ and Matrix told me to attack Ian once again soon, so I declared war and threw my units vs him.
Didn't really hurt him so I had to make peace with the condition to return Lucille Mermaid to grahamiam (was once captured by killercane)

On the positive side: I am quite ok in score and thanks to stealing two techs after using a Great Spy, I am techwise ok.

I have just researched Biology which will give my GP farm a nice boost.

Had 2 GAs via Great People in the meantime which also kept me in the game.

It's 1625 AD and screenshots will follow in a few minutes.

I guess, we'll see a Spaceship win if a normal win at all. I can't imagine me being able to build the spaceship...

My strategy was to try to catch up in tech and concentrate on developing my cities. This worked quite ok. I thought, i was a non-interesting target.

Wrong. Had a short war vs IanDC (Mali). He said, he didn't like me stealing some techs.

He captured 2 cities (Ulundi and Cheetah), but then I was able to kill his big stack. We then settled for peace with him returning Cheetah. He had some tanks and I was only close to getting Anti-Tanks.

I agreed to not using espionage against him anymore (maybe he has seen my Great Spy hich was coming his way)

akots is first to complete Apollo, Matrix and Darkness will probably follow close.

I won't be able to catch up in tech so I don't know whether I'll play a role in who wins this game.

I can see them..if I squint a bit...anyway its nice of you to post an update. Matix had posted a pic else where that looked like you had expanded a bit, so now i have a better picture of what is going on.

Matrix has attacked me via sea and razed two of my cities (Tape Cown and the bad one to the north).

I don't know what he is aiming at.

darkness and akots are building the Spaceship but instead of trying to gather the other to hurt them, he kills someone who could have helped against hose two (not that I really know whether I would have done that, but he didn't even try to get me on his side)

He said he wants to get some territory, but there is noc hance of him winning via Domination before someone finishes the ship. Same for Diplomatic victory. I will ask in his spoiler once the game is finished.

So at least it is not a boring game for me til the end, and I hope to be able to keep all my towns on the continent.

No, he didn't land a stack. He landed two Tanks when razing the second town and I have killed them.

He attacked from sea and I think he lost quite a few units doing so. At least I got another Great General this way...

We were playing the turn simultaneously and I was a little too slow moving units.
