Sz_matyas and I have decided to throw down another team challenge. 2v2, Vanilla or Warlords. Neither of us have played pitboss before, but it may help guarantee that the game keeps moving with some predetermined holiday breaks.
Questions, details whatever, post them here.
Plus this is an official decleration of victory over robboo and BCLG in the last team game.:D

Are you sure you know what pitboss means? it may be easier if you want a non pbem thing to have direct ip/gamespy games.
I'd show you a thing or two but it'd have to be bts or warlords.
I would consider it if it wasn't a PBEM. I've been succesful with 2 person PBEM's, but anything over that seems to fade rather quickly. Especially when we get patch upon patch upon patch....

Perhaps a redo then? I have patched up and the old saves will not load.
We could make this one where we could do some power sessions to pound out the early years.
We could just do an advanced start type thing?
advanced start works for me.
Romeo power sessions dont work for me. I play when I get a spare moment or before work around 430am your time

Lets try that first. I would love to update the save. What does that require?
Wouldnt we still be using vanilla though?
I'm not really able to play vanilla anymore.

Doesn't BtS accept pathced vanilla files. I was lead to believe it did.
i prefer something other than vanilla also. I really want to use some of the newer units and spying

I have only Vanilla and Warlords. Either are acceptable to me. If you want me to play BTS, than you have to hope that someone is generous to me around Christmas.
Even then, getting enough time to play it a couple of times to get the feeling right would be difficult.

Since Matyas and I both got BTS for Christmas, we reopen our 2v2 challenge!!!
BCLG and Robboo get the right of refusal. Same rules, drafting civs, seperate continents with a galley traversable pathway.
Well if BC wants to do it...I am in. I cant promise any power sessions but I can promise turns in less than 24 hours on weekdays. Yeah I know why not weekends but with my kids I rather spend time with them then worrying if a turn is waiting.
IF BC doesnt want to play I can team up with someone else to play you guys or just watch you get hammered by another team of 2.
Im not sure if im really into playing every save in a team game like last game. Plus my interest in civ is wandering at best. So i'm going to have to pass :)

BC...You hardly played EVERY TURN. Most of the time you played it while I was at work.
SZ and Romeo...I will look for another teammate unless someone posts.
No. most of the time i played every turn, so much to the extent i asked romeo and sz to send saves to my inbox instead of the joint one for ease of playing.

BC how could I play if I never got the save...hence part of the problem. BUT I really dont care. I offered to play the guys if you dont want then thats cool. IF they dont want to play me then thats fine also...
The save was sent to both inboxes numerous times yet remained unread. So not really a problem in that sense. Regardless, better luck in this pbem.
Ok girls, break it up. As an outsider I'd guess miscommunication. I've never had save problems from either of you for what it's worth.
