Okay, take a look at this:

http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/uploaded/dralimentado/2003572337_anarres_AllScores_107.jpg

No, that Anarres is whooping dr. A.'s ass is not the point here (thanks for letting me borrow the picture anyway), but look at the boxes right next to the player names...
What do they do? I just found out that they can be toggled, but what happens? Auto-win?

We shall call it:

BOPRCOUSIN

=bored programmer's completely useless invention

(May there's a use for LAN games, like ping rate, actice player info or such)

Indeed it is for diplomacy. You should check the manual for detailed info on this subject! ;)

clears throat *ahem* no reaction, clears throat again *AHEM* - Pray tell, how did you come to that conclusion?? [scratch]

If points mean anything - which they don't, I am winning by a margin.

in actuality... the game is rather close right now. Anarres once again has nicked ahead with a tech lead (fuck knows how the cheating bastard [mad3]), but who know's what will happen next? [groucho]

Having said that I'll probably get nuked next turn now...

bah! stupid double post!

right, so I'll say this - when I saw this thread title I thought we were going to get a picture of a fanny and the question "Who does this belong to?" [lol]

It was only a joke dr. A. Well, on the other hand, I can read your brother's spoiler [lol]

I had high hopes too when I saw this topic appear. Similar disappointment when I thought digger was offering me and anarres 500 pounds.....

What do my avatar and a fly have in common?
Sweet Fanny Adams.

It's supposed to be a cricket (=my nickname "Grille"),
but the pic is somewhat warped to get it into squared
format.
Nobody thinks of a cricket just sitting on a leaf.
[cry]

At least you didn't assume that there's a dung beetle laying maggots. :)

For online games, if you click the box, I think the person cant talk to you. Say anarres pressed it against Dr. A in a online game. That means Dr. A couldnt and wouldnt be able to contact anarres. Or I am pretty sure thats how it works. But it is totally useless for PBEM and hotseat.

hmmm, this has exposed my ignorance of the world of crickets.

I typed in crickets into google and seen all these pictures of things that look like flys to me. but with a little reseach i found that the cricket i was thinking of was the southern mole cricket...

and here is one that looks like yours

I always though crickets were black things that lived in cracks and sung tunes at night to keep you awake...since they like warm climates then maybe they don't exist in europe..

To be honest, my knowledge about crickets isn't the best either.
The shown cricket is "Gryllus campestris", it's not a mole cricket
but a "field"(?) or "two-point"(?) cricket.
I just know that zoological name because it
was stated next to the pic...

I took the avatar in relation to my nickname which translates to "cricket",
but that's all about it.
Although I do like warm climates, there's no need to call my nightly snoring
"sung tune". [lol]

Anyway, maybe I try to find an improved pic. The last one you posted is nice indeed,
but does look like a fly to me... [lol]
