I asked. [crazyeye]
She said "Yes" :D

It's a long term planning process though. Planning for somewhere in 2009...

Here I come... [rulez][whipped]

Congratulations!

But planning that long?

That will be a hard time...;)

(Women can be exhausting when it comes to wedding planning)

Congrats Darkness!!

I am in favor of a longer engagement anyway.

If Euro girls are like American girls, the wedding is already planned anyway. This gives more time for Darkness to understand the plan and be able to find funding for it all.

Congrats and enjoy!!

back away slowly....NOW RUN...

Congrats. During the planning process.."yes dear" is the only words you know. Unless she wants you to wear pink.

Planning and saving money.

BTW, here in Rotterdam, where both our families live (almost every single family member actually lives in the same city...) reservations on location etcetera must be made about a year in advance. The good locations (which the GF wants of course) are booked (at reasonable days anyway) 13 months in advance...

But I have time. I am not in a hurry.

BTW, my niece is getting married in the fall of 2008 and my GF gets along great with her. You can bet there'll be a lot of discussion on the plans between the two of them... [crazyeye] Which should add up to some seriously extensive plans. And costs.... [help]

@Tubby: No babies yet... The scary part is that when we told my in-laws yesterday the first thing my mother-in-law asked was: "You two are not doing this because Laura is pregnant, right?" [rolleyes]

I'm not married yet!

I want my youngsters to be present at the ceremony. That will be in probably 4-6 years (just in time for Darkness's wedding ;))

I believe in a thing called love
Just listen to the rhythm of my heart
There's a chance we could make it now
We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes down
I believe in a thing called love
Ooh!

Grats man

Well, last month we finally found a location for our marriage that we both liked and was still available...

In 1993 the former head office of the Holland-America (Rotterdam-Ney York) cruiseship service was converted to a hotel, and since 2007 it's also being used as a wedding location...

Loads more stuff to arrange though...

Stylish. One of my colleagues is living in one of those towers btw. Don't know which one though, but I think it's the tall one.
