Ok, so i thought i'd already made one for it but apparantly not. This is gonna be a long post!

Everyone is doing amazingly crap in this game, its gone past 1000AD and the majority (including myself don't even have CS yet), laregely i'd say this is down to small number of people and lots and lots of war. Darkness and Stapel have already been eliminated.

Initially my settler was a tile north west but i saw the gold and wanted it in my phat cross so i moved and got it, things trickled along and i met darkness quite early noticing there was very little gap between our capital cities, rob also appeared to the west of me, settling a city pretty much on my capitals big fat cross. Me=not happy by these events, what made me especially unhappy was that darkness had metals (or he would have when he bothered hooking them up), whilst robbo had iron just outsdie his city that was right on top of me, funnily enough it would have been inside my capitals fat cross if i had of settled immediatly.

All these problems however paled into comparison when casey who'd had a warrior sniffing around my border for awhile decided to declare war, initially i thought gameover, ahwell it was fun. We however came to a compromise, in return for gifting him two settlers before 0ad (which i later accomplished a few turns later) he would not knock my city out the game but help me crush darkness, who had founded buddhism and a second city south west of his capital- in what he would later learn contain iron and bronze. So then the race was on (at least the race in my head) to settle the horses that was in a midpoint between me and darkness. I eventually got there first but not before his quecha was stuck on the hill next to the city, worried that he could quite easily get rid of my connection to the horses i decided to settle on top. And immediatly started trying to pump out chariots in both cities.

My hand was forced when i was unprepared for attack with only 3-4 chariots when i saw darkness planning on settling another city just north of supermassive, it was only guarded by a quecha but i felt i'd much prefer a worker than a pile of rubble and so i moved like pete townshend in a nursery and quickly killed the quecha and took the worker as my prize.

I immediatly moved as many units as i could towards the front, darkness still only had quechas and hadn't hooked up any resources, however whilst i took out his metal city (with a chariot i got from casey and a couple of my own) he discovered archery and due to the tremendous ability for archers to be a complete bastard on top of a hill i was forced to wait another 30 turns before i could attack the city whilst i researched construction and built some cats! However the day soon came (not quick enough in my mind- for my score was staying level whilst everyone around me was growing and growing). I lost i think it was 2 cats and an axe, i had borrowed copper from rob previously in exchange for gold later on in a free thing for about 30 turns- later this'd become a talking point!

Well my prize for taking so long to finish off darkness, metals both iron and copper, two very good cities and a religion fo my very own! hurrah!

With barbs on raging it would be a constant problem keeping the east pacified enough for them not to disrupt everything, something i have only just accomplished, one way was to keep a city i would have probably normally razed and then resettled when i could afford the maintenance.

Now we enter the second portion of the game, i was near bottom in score, only above stapel who was getting spit roasted by about 10 different people ;) whereas klammi and robbo seemed to be setting the early pace, both getting a healthy lead, rob through pop and territory and klammi through wonders and tech. Unfortunatly one of the leaders was next to me!

Unfortunate for them that is, i wasn't going to let a potential winner, win next to me! so immediatly after finishing off darkness my attention turned westwards and i started building a military attack road. Then relation between me and rob turned sour, he argued that because i had borrowed copper off him earlier in the game i should think twice about warring with him, i had thought twice, twice and three time and noticed how his power graph was largely down to population and land, so the initial few cities should be pretty easy takes. Then further arguments ensued when he complained i hadnt given him enough time to prepare for an attack even though he had near twenty turns after the conclusion of our peace treaty (copper had been given back to him nearly 50 turns ago).

So then another great war began, first up was his city that had been bugging me for centuries! i was tempted to raze it for its annoyance but decided i should better keep it, it looked to be a reasonable production city, containing a few good hills, iron and horse. Roughly ten turns earlier Rob had founded christianity in one of his cities, that was next to be taken, so far minimal losses everything was going very nicely, i then took his final metal city to the north, he was left with nothing to build but archers. The world was my oyster and i was ready to pound him into dust, i began moving my troops towards his capital, what i saw made me pull up, i had one stack of about 9, mostly cats and another of about 5, mixture of axes/spears and cats. However in his city he had a combination of about 13 units, his remaining archers/axes/and a keshik. I decided to hold up in forests outside his capital, one to the north another to the east.

Then, disaster strikes, the patch comes out and warlords no longer works! im not in control of the situation and during this time rob manages to slay my stack of 9 in the forest, apparantly with quite a few losses, indeed he moved every unit out of the capital to do it, unfortunatly my other stack couldn't have reached it so (thanks again for playing Stapel!!!) Stapel under my orders beat a hasty retreat, the stack of 5 back to the northern city and i started shoring up my defences for what would eventually be a counterattack.

Luckily by this point i'd got machinery and therefore xbows, one of these in each of rob's newly conquered cities was enough to force him to the debating table and after initially telling him he wasn't getting squat back from me we signed a 10 turn peace treaty, leaving me in control of these cities!
Named LOLA cos rob called it NOLA and i didnt understand what it meant! Partytown because every turn is a party in the viking empire!

Now we come to a point in the story i skipped out to make it easier reading, during the war rob became vassel of klammi therefore getting klammi unintentionally involed in a war, i demanded klammi either gift me the city which rob had given him for vasselship (just north of Partytown) or face the consequences, klammi got back to me saying he'd gift me two settlers instead, i was overjoyed- finally i was able to plug that gap in the east!

So Drunk and Funky were founded, 3 turns later, drunk was razed, damn barbs!

As it was only ten turns of peace and i didnt want to leave a job undone, i immediatly started preparing for war again, having researched engineering i built a treb but before i could build more i was interrupted by what i thought was a double assault by robi d and robboo, robi d's attack surprised me a lot- furthest civ away from me, literally 100 tiles plus. But it meant the stack i'd been saving for rob had to be called away to deal with this threat as he was attacking my capital. His stack of 13 was pretty easily crushed and we signed peace soon after, the only reasoning i can think for it was whatever he wanted to do went wrong, i.e. raze my capital/get a GG/ get rid of obsolete units. However i lost the majority of my siege equipement as he was in forests i suicided about 6 cats against him, which allthough was beneficial to my normal units promos was not so usefull for my attack on rob as i was down to three cats across the empire.

Meanwhile in the North casey, my ally, had made a promising start smashing into klammi (roughly the same time i went into rob) but was now being held as mauer threatened to attack, due to mauers immense production capacity he had to bring the majority of his troops back, whip a load and defend, the last turn he lost one of his best cities when mauer moved a 25 strong stack up against his 15 in the city. I think this is the beginning of the end for him.

So now we reach the present, there's little i can do to help casey, i've got a stack of about twenty healing and ready to head into rob land with 3 cities producing me some mor siege equipement, im waiting till i get a stack of 30+ before moving which is roughly 7 more turns plus 4 moving. So not long to go if all goes to plan.

Due to my beelining for machinery and engineering, i missed out quite a few techs, only recently switching to Hered Rule and theocracy.

Except for my capital, Supermassive and EM i've been using the whip like and egyptian slave driver so most cities now have a granary/rax/lib if they need one a trading post also (Ub). Partytown and LOLA i now have producing units, theres nothing so sweet i think as having conquered cities produce units to kill their old overlord!

Well im doing reasonably well, i would very much like to see my mfg a lot higher, next turn i should be switching some tiles around in darknessian which should add another 10 and cities growing etc but yeah im reasonably happy, especially with land area and pop means if im left alone in peace i should get quite a lead!

basically that massive brown line drop, thats me battering rob but my points have really started to accelerate after peace with him when i could let my cities grow a bit for the first time in the whole game! darknessian especially being usefull, i have also recently agreed a trade with casey in exchange for a prophet im giving him 400 gold, something which the prophet should easily pay me back with a shrine. that coupled with an eventual wall street in there should mean $$$$ for me! [:D}

during the peace i can work out he built another settler as he founded a third city, i havent been able to find it so far. Also, which is most annoying for me, his capital found a source of copper in one of his hills by the capital!

Klammi hearland, got the pyramids and a few other wonders, recently brought out some knights so has got to guilds first which is annoying for those around him i suppose!

Im in a the south of the continent, so if i finish off rob should be able to fill it up fairly easily if i want, its just finishing off rob then avoiding a war for awhile which'll be tricky. Anyways sorry about the length, hope it was worth the read. :)

Ok well this wont be the same sized update as before, casey recently gifted me 100gpt, that means i've been able to turn my research up to electric pace, i should be getting to CS in about 6 turns now, hopefully he survives long enough for me to make it!

Rob recently moved about 6 troops up to a hill two tiles away from LOLA including the unit he had attached a GG too. Cao Cao, my sworn enemy (i never liked him in ROTK), during our war Rob has generated a couple of GG's, Cao Cao attached to an axe, he attached another to a keshil giving it movement of 3, luckily on the last turn before peace i managed to kill it before it could escape, im 3 points away from getting my third GG, this one im not sure what to do with- the other two i've added to the capital to give me extra exp so now 9exp units are coming out of there. However im not too sure what to do with the next one? ideas anyone?

Anyways back to the units, he claims he was using them to see how well the city was defended, however now he's pulled all but three of the most promoted back including a his GG unit, the other three he moved one north into the woods- that shall be their final resting place hopefully because even in the woods my elephant has an 88% chance of winning couple with the extra chariots i plan on building they wont be breathing for much longer!

Originally i had been toying with the idea of building a military road of myself from downtown and attacking from the south east, main positive of this was that i had defensive bonuses 3 of the 4 tiles to his capital. The other idea i was toying with was moving my entire stack up to partyland and attacking from the north. This, imo would have been the best way to attack, it would mean less time between moving into his territory and getting to his capital and cover from forest 2 of the 3 tiles getting there, unfortunatly there is no way i can move all of my units up there without rob cottoning on, this plus with rob's military road has forced me into taking the last of my three choices and attacking straight down the middle, a 4 tile slog right through the middle with only 1 perhap two tiles availiable for defensive bonuses along the way

Unless anyone can see anyway around this i should have to take the last option, one positive will mean that he'll be harder pressed to launch a counter offensive against me.


Last note, in addition to them stacks which i have there i did notice i was short of siege engines, i have 1 treb ready in 3, 1 in 5, one cat in three, one cat next turn, and another cat already built on the way to the rendezvous. I think that'll be enough but i'll probably whip another couple of cats in LOLA and partyland each, then using the hammer overflow to pile into a couple of chariots each so i can take out them axes hopefully instantly!

Oops that update ended up being longer than i expected again :)

Ok some pictures, rob started making what i assume was another military road up near partytown, now i didnt want him doing this so i declared war, my xbow and two chariots took care of his advanced defending worker party, no losses.

So i moved my stack in minus a treb and a cat that are following behind, the capital doesnt look too well defended but seeing as his power graph says he has troops elsewhere i imagine he must have another stack in the forest south-south-west of my stack.

With all them troops moving in, my gnp took a hit, my raw gold is the best in the game but in terms of infra to use it i'd imagine im next to last!

This game is certainly up in the air as to who is going to pull it out. Looking at your screens of Mauer, he has no cottages hardly!

The tech pace is torturously slow. Who are you going to try to pair with, Robi?

i've got NA's with mauer and klammi until 1500 and 1600.

klammi looks to be having a crack at robi soon so i'll let them all get on with it and build up my non existant infra structure, im nearly 3 times ahead of second place in raw gnp but in actual gold im only second.

Ok more detailed post.

Spoke to the master of ceremonies himself ingame (cody) said that klammi and robi we're gearing up for full on war, i nearly whooped with joy, klammi=highest mfg and robi= highest power rating =me sitting pretty.

For some reason dead folk aren't being recognised on the demo screen which means its hard to get a detailed analysis on mauers gnp but i don't think its especially 'hawt'.

Anyways first of all i notice a lack of update since the war.

Ok well my troops moved in, rob seemed to have three squadrons almost in the exact positions as i predicted, the only thing wrong was that his third unseen squadron was fast movers, including an axe with the GG promo of an extra movement, this was sent down towards my southern city with christianity (robs old city), odly it had a cat with it which was always behind, i scrambled a defence for it but was bricking it as to whether it would hold, if rob had of attacked the city he would have been able to capture/raze it. Meanwhile at the capital rob had moved his two squadrons back in defence of the capital, there were about 15 units in it which would have proved a lot of a match for my attacking 25 unit squad.

Then things went from bad to brilliant, i still dont know what rob was planning, but his initial two squadrons of units he split up again and sent them off against LOLA and partyland, as the roads were cut it'd take ~4 turns to get there and attack, even more of a bonus was when his fast mover sqaudron decided to simply bypass the christianity city and go north of it, for the life of me i can't decide why. I immediatly suicided a treb against his archers in the capital which died but then i took it with the following two units. I also crippled rob's fast moving stack, killing his GG axe, allowing my pikes/spears to attack his unprotected horse units.

The following turn was when things went even weirder from my perspective, rob seemed completly undecided about what to do regarding his two seperate axe stacks and looked to be sending one back so i left a load of cats in the capital and sent every other unit out to mop up robs other cities. I completly finished off rob's fast mover stack having got beserkers a couple of turns previously they made their first foray into the world of war!

It became a race between my two stacks to grab robs last two cities and his two stacks to well im not too sure what he was thinking, anyways i won but not before i killed every unit in his two stacks for the extra exp (gained another GG which is now sitting in my capital!)

Im fairly pleased with just about everything on here, i don't have many/any forges in my cities but have four being completed in the upcoming turns, my raw gnp is excellant in comparison to everyone else, whilst my land area= big pop in the future.

The plan right now is to rush to chemistry then just turtle up for a bit and regrow everything/infra etc. e.g. my second city only has a barracks and a granary in it, its only just finishing a lib. Im also going to attempt to fill in the land before klammi does

So another four cities and i should be fine, i might send a note to klammi advising him to settle no further west or my beserkers might just pay him a visit.

In game terms, klammi seems to be my biggest rival right now, he recently completed the hanging gardens, gave him nearly a million extra people, nearly a 200 point score jump. He also seems to have the best land out of the three remaining, whilst robi's cities a few are good but some are tundra cities so he'll need to fight himself some new ones. Mauer seems to have some excellant production sites but is still last in production weirdly enough- his gnp also seems appaling.

On the diplomacy front, i signed as reported a NA with both klammi and mauer for 30/40 turns each. but i kept channels open with robi, he seemed to want help taking out klammi but right now i really have better things to do so i just offered some form of alliance where i give him some gold etc.

Another irritant is that klammi's gnp graph shows just how much infra he has, my gnp is nearly three times more than his but his graph is nearly twice the size of mine, hopefully robi will be able to clip his wings for me.

Future goals=cottage down, keeps troop levels high, engage a lot on the diplo front and try and keep them three fighting amongst themselves.

Well, figured i'd update this now i've got back, seems that i shall be entering in to a war soon with klammi certainly, probably mauer and the outside chance of robi d. Whilst i was away, robi lost his war with klammi and got battered really hard so he is effectivly out of the running in winning the game.

Klammi i think was getting ready for war this coming turn but due to complications with a peace treaty between us, i thought 1750 he thought otherwise, we're now entering into a state of non peace at 1700. At least this is what i think he meant 'k, i will go to bed soon. we latest meet in 10 turns on the battlefield have a good day'

Lucky for me, klammi decided to put, what i hope, are the bulk of his troops out in the open for me to take screenshots of!!!

Thats cody's stack which i can see, he seems to still be fairly lacking in the technology department.

I was researching coporation when i thought i had awhile till war and was beelining towards infantry, then when i thought i was going to war in 1750 i was beelining to democracy for universal suffrage to make use of my numerous towns i have for extra production and push on towards steel after that, now after finding out i'll be warring with two people in 1700 i've had to switch to steel which should be done in 5 turns.

Before i reveal my plan i'll highlight me (pitifull) defence.

From my point of view, not entirely.
I've got quite a large number of fairly heavily promoted troops, a lot of units that good become grenadiers/cannons if i had the cash.
From production alone, at a low estimate i should have 15 grenadiers produced from no whipping.

So here's the plan, i research steel full pelt, no whipping at all involved. By the time steel is complete i should have about 8 grenadiers already built. Research off. Now heres where my v nice gnp comes in, just for you folks at home here's my demographic table!

Now with research off i'm making close to 700 gpt. Over the 6 turns i'll have until i imagine there stacks can reach my cities that'll be close to 4.5k's worth of gold.
To upgrade one beserker to a grenadier and to upgrade one pike to a gren is 140.

So that coupled with the 10 grenadiers i already have would equal 24 grenadiers, in addition to the 8 i will have hopefully built, that'll be 32 grens i have running around doing my bidding. Thats after the first 5 turns of building/promoting.

Once i get steel everything changes, mass, mass production of cannons, whipping/upgrading/building/whatever, the important thing is to produce enough cannons to at least equal the number of grenadiers i have with less time. One option i've been considering is building a few cats before i get steel and then upgrade them when i get the chance.

Right now it's very heavy on the grenadiers, i want to give the impression that im strong even if im not, right now im third behind klammi and cody in the power graph.

A few things which concern me though, naval- i don't have one and in every civ game i don't see the need, however i do fear a naval attack, luckily though i don't think anyone has astronomy yet so any attack that way would be plain stupid imo.
I have a GS, im tempted to use him to rush printing press even though it would only take me 2 turns to complete it through research, it'd give me a gnp bonus i think of at least 25-30 base gold per turn.
If klammi or mauer get through my first line of defence im screwed, luckily there are only two places i can see them launching attacks from, exactly where klammi had his soldiers today- where his massive stack was is a huge slog to get to my capital and i think i can probably bombard his troops down and constantly harass him so by the time he gets there his stack will be tiny, his other stack i imagine will attack beamington (as founded by beam :)) or Partyland, either should have a fairly large enough defence to be able to cope with the stack he had there.

The only worry i see is darknessian, its me heroic epic city and as such would be a blow for me to lose it, yet its also an arse to defend, its surrounded by not very high productive cities but quite good gnp cities, thus it wont get any help there, mauer and klammi i imagine will know this as they've been scouting my territory for awhile now until i kicked them out today! my gnp can take it but klammis was relying a lot on OB's.

So, thoughts from anyone? any ideas for my defence? I've not switched to theocracy and im not sure if i can afford to waste a turn doing so, anybody got any arguments for me doing so? my two main production sites do contain GG +2 exp modifiers in :)

Personally, i think anyways, if i can hold them off i've won the game.

he's selling cody grens and klammi is more than likely to try a naval invasion, where i havent found out yet.

Its a good plan, just keep building cannons. In fact, I would build cats to upgrade to cannons over grens, since they are worlds more effective and the others dont have cavalry.

IMHO, killercane is right. Just make more cats, you can either sacrifice them or upgrade them depending on how your war goes. You can try to slow down his advancement by decreasing his hp in the stack with 2-3 cats just to give you more time once he is in your lands. If he does not stop to heal, that would make no difference. If he stops, you got what you need.

klammi hasnt show alot of patience in the games I played against him. I think his naval attack will come in one of my old cities the one furthest SouthWest.

Yeah thats what i assumed, the info i got from robi is that though he has astronomy he hasn't seen any galleons so don't know what to make of that.

mauer also supposedly has cavs in 6 turns, this i find hard to believe as i only got nationalism a few turns ago and no-one else had it then whilst his gnp is negative right now so it would take a few great artists to bulb it, whether he does or not won't have a huge impact as i doubt he'll be able to build a huge lot before the outset of the war and he doesn't have tonnes of cash to upgrade.
Robi also sold him 10 grenadiers, not a huge amount but if he does get cavs will be an annoyance to deal with.

Ok so its 1700AD, i hope i've got peace till the next turn, either way it'll only make my defences more solid than what they are.

So i've overtaken mauer in troops which i did when i finished steel, i agreed a deal with robi for some lux's id get 500 gold so i was able to heavily negative research for a couple of turns allowing me to get steel that extra turn earlier, it's made quite a difference, i've whipped quite a lot but not immensly so i've still got quite a bit left in me if things turn for the worse however i've managed to produce more than the amount of units i hoped for with more and more coming each turn, quite a lot of cities are averaging a cannon at least every 4 turns, more with whipping, the only drawback is that in quite a few they come unpromoted and i don't have the time to waste a turn on rax's.

So i think i have at least equal troop numbers as klammi does, he recently built three pointless wonders-chichen itza, hagia sophia and some other balls, chichen itza baffled me especially as it stops working in a couple of techs and has absolutly no effect on grens/cannons but ohwell less time spent building troops.

Mauer and apparantly klammi have both now got mil trad so they've got cavs but according to my info from robi klammi only has a few and i can only see mauer has 1, he does however have quite a stock of camel archers so i expect them to be upgraded when he gets the funds, looking at it though he only has enough for about 1.5 per turn so i don't think i have to worry about it that much on that front whilst his units are by and large fairly outdated. My theory with the cavs will be to suicide whatever units i can against that stack first and then hit the remainder with the cannons and then charge in with the rest of the stack.

My intel from robi suggests that klammi has two stacks north of partyland, i imagine one to hit partyland and the other to hit beamington, he also has his other stack in casey's former capital, i've built up a stack in my capital to, if not deal with it, make a large indent in it.

I've left my biggest stack halfway between partyland and beamington, they can ressupply either city if need be within a turn once i get a road completed next turn, whilst my second biggest is over at darknessian and has quite a few WE's to deal with the threat of mauers camel archers. All cities i expect to be attacked are within two turns distance to be relieved by another city, the only worries i have are my outside cities on the coast but by next turn i'll have finished upgrading all units in them and will switch if i can from cannon builds to gren builds for some defence.

They key to this war i think is knocking out klammi early, its a long trek for mauer to re-supply so if i can get rid of klammi i can kill him off at my leisure.

After i've finished my upgrading im not sure how to proceed from their, whether to go full tilt towards rifling/infantry or keep research off and mass produce pikes/beserkers/xbows and upgrade them to grens, any thoughts on this or anything?

It all depends on the first couple of turns of the war. If you can hold'm of you have a chance. Rifleboys are the best against Cavs if they got'm lots, War Elephants a cheap but less effective alternative. You got enough Cannons as far as I can see to seriously blow a stack. Do you have Astro yourself btw? I don't recall from when I was subbing.

Pretty much, klammi sorta DM'd me but got out of it on a technicality or something which basically meant one of my biggest stacks of cannons got annihliated early on, lost my capital and 4 other cities, not much else to say really.

Had you not given klammi the 10 turns of peace i would have still been around since i was beating him until all his units from the south showed up.

I wouldn't have launched an attack if i thought it wouldnt help you, klammi ended up killing my 50 units in his territory but i got a worker out of it and razed a small city. back to peace again till 1900.

Hokay, spose i better update this for those of you not in the know.

Mauer realised his chance of winning was slowly slipping away the more that klammi decided to pound down on me, he thus realised that the best option was to go to peace, so we did. Quite a good peace infact for me, he offered to gift me all the units he wasn't using (he has peace till the end game with klammi) so long as i didnt fight him again, i said that was fair enough and so immediatly having done that i launched a counter offensive on one of klammi's cities.

Then anyone who'sever played MP will understand, i sent klammi a joke peace thing, something i assumed he could never possibly accept, peace for 4 cities, including his main commercial one. To my shock he agreed, mauer had already offered me Superville back in exchange for nothing but feeling bad i offered him coruscant, something i'd later come to regret. (its a dman good commercial city).

So with that peace, i gained back land i'd lost in the war, LOLA, a city just north of where Simons Spot was. I also gained, Karachi- quite a reasonable production city in itself, with 3 gems for me to use. Pleased as punch.

Then i realised that my ally up north would be getting the smack laid down on him up north, so i immediatly started planning for war ten turns later. It turns out mauer also started finishing robi off so the attack i launched to try and help robi ended up all the units that were fighting robi just a few turns earlier had enough time to come back down south and kill my 50 unit stack. Back to peace again, this time i had to give him 500 gold or karachi, luckily this time i was allowed to resettle Partyland. My territory looked much as it had done before the war, the only loss was Beamington- which ended up getting uranium :( I took a barb city that had been Great folk, with plans to build the Heroic Epic there again and settled another city just North east of Em. So thats where we are today- and now the bit you've all been waiting for, the pictures!

The Pearl of my empire, i was far more willing to lose my Capital than i was this city, so much so that it has now become my capital when Simon's Spot was raised. Darknessian- my iron works/heroic epic city- originally i was going to be building wall st here but ohwell, it produces over 150 hammers when building military :)

Most up north towards Mauer have very little defence at all, some obsolete defence. Either way im going to try and use mauers territory as a springboard to knock out a lot of klammi's heartland.

For reasons i don't quite understand, the majority of my cities have banks/markets/grocers etc but that seems to make no impact anybody any ideas?
MFG screen is a lot nicer to look at for me- quite a margin between me and klammi- hopefully i can use this towards my advantage.

Strangely enough klammi is just building any wonder he can, even building wonders that have become obsolete, he's not going for culture as he's quite a way off achieveing that so not sure what he's playing at. On the subject of wonders, recently i built the pentagon.

Quite a way on klammi which mystifies me just how he is teching so well with such a poor GnP but also not incaste system so can't run specialists, unless its just all the specialist points he's gaining from building wonders?!?!?

Even though im only second by a small way in size im getting my ass completly kicked in score, not completly sure why, i understand against klammi as he has a massive population and loads of wonders but how mauer got there im not sure.

Plans for the future are to get heli's so i need combustion rocetry and flight. attack straight away with them then follow it up with a cav so i can actually take the city.

The only flaw is that, if i do go to war with klammi im handing mauer the game pretty much, if i dont go to war with klammi theres absolutly no chance of me winning the game as them two aren't going to be warring anytime soon. My only option is to try and get a really quick war with klammi and knock him out the picture soon enough, gain enough land to rival mauer and hopefully beat him via space. I don't think i'd have enough land to win via domination if i just conquered klammi as cody's borders would push into the space left behind by klammi's culture.

Anyways another long post so my apologies, hope you liked all the pictures :)

I found it funny anyways, cody was the one that got in there first, right now my troop levels are almost double the closest (his) and growing, im gonna start sending units up towards cody, mine and klammi's peace ends in 20 turns.
