Open for PBEM games

I would like to do another PBEM.

I don't know exactly, when I'll get BTS (it's being sold here from Friday on), but it should be pretty soon, so it could be BtS or vanilla for me too.

I am not that big a Civ4 expert and I have only played 2 MP Civ4 games, both of them are unfinished...

Interested?
Which game type? I think I'd prefer some kind of map without oceans or inland sea.

Random map or should we ask a map maker?

On the map it doesn't matter to me, whatever you think will be good. I'm still really new and trying to get all the pieces in place. Ask Mauer not very good here, lol. I should be getting BtS today, but will wait, not really in a hurry, just wanted to get something lined up to continue my quest at being better and learning more..

So, I have installed BtS and tested a little (I didn't have Warlords, so that alone is already some new stuff...

I propose the following settings, feel free to discuss them.

Map: Great Lakes (Small) without world wrap?
4 AI
We are located at opposite sites
Normal speed
A map maker (BCLG, are you interested doing a map for us?) cares for ressources and starting locations to be quite balanced

Each one choses a civ and then we start...that's the theory...

I think, I'll take Sitting Bull. Have read that many people think he is quite strong...

BTW, I think the level above Noble should be ok, really matters only twoards the AI which we don't wanna have too strong...

I don't mind and I guess failedreality doesn't mind either...

As you might read in other threads, my computer went on strike yesterday and I don't know when it will be fixed but hopefully it is just a matter of days.

I'm gonna guess he's too busy. I know he's moved recently and also started at Uni.

Over one of these two months, my computer was out of order...

Therefore we now could start...

And IIRC BCLG told something about being availbale again for Civ beginning/mid of october.

games made, i'll email it to ynnek- i did a bit of altering of the map-mainly got rid of tundra and ice (for the most part), edited the capitals fairly extensivly- you now have equal yet different capitals-because of the map you wanted opposite capitals- that didn't really happen but you are a fair distance away. I've edited the AI's positions fairly extensivly and everything else you can find out for yourself :)

Oh and if it makes a difference, i've got the latest patch on my comp so you two may need to install that to play-not sure :)
