I just sent 1600 to Markstar.
What happened to WildFire? And could someone please send me a savegame, so I can see an update again? :) I'd like that very much!

WF just suddenly retreated into the chatroom at CFC. He hasn't come out ever since, except for being kicked out or something.
whatever - he is fully gone, doesn't answer on MSM and ICQ either.

Well i think the sav is with tunerica now..and he has been missing for over a week now.
What do people want to do:
Give up now?
Find replacement?
Also if we are to continue then I would like to propose we carry on in C3C v1.22.
Can anybody see any problems with this?
I would like to continue..but i would also like to run it in C3C.
I was doing an RCP..but could'nt care less for the effect cos we hav'nt gone far anyway.

IF we are to continue, then I want to change to C3C 1.22.
I tried and can load my save fine.
hehe. I was doing RCP too and will have to trash a city 1 tile from the coast, but I'd still much rather play in C3C.
If you are planning to continue with C3C 1.22 and need a replacement I'd volunteer.
c3c 1.22 is fine with me.

Banzai and Arghis were interested in TinyChaos 3 so i will PM to see if they'd take this on instead.
Also I'd like to point out that in my books Tunerica has a good reputation for playing PBEM's. In the past he has always notified me when he'd be away. It could be that he is on 2 weeks term holidays. And since we have had month breaks in this game who could blame him to have forgotten about it. If he shows back up,within 1 week or so, I am inclined to let him back in. So at this stage our replacement player would be a fill in possibly becoming permanent in 1-2 weeks.

The sav did not reach anarres so one of the following must have the sav:
Arghis
Beam (who is playing for Erikk)
GOT THE SAVE FROM ARGHIS, FORWARDED IT TO BEAM.
ERIKK (from Tokyo [eek])

because, ProPain said he never got the sav from Killer that was apparently sent on the 26th October
I sent emails to both, after the 8th of November. Killer never responded (is said he'd be away) either he got my email or saw the message i left in the turn tracker..or ProPain found the original Email, because ProPain reported it sent on the turn tracker on the 9th of November. But the turn tracker still had Tunerica's email. Today I asked ProPain in an email..(everybody should have go this) that he would need to resend using his own email server. I also asked Matrix to updated Tunerica email to Arghis's. So we are back on track for now..but not sure if we are going to continue fluently with killer being away.

I need the help of other people in this game to keep track of the sav. The turn tracker is there and everybody who can use it shoudl use it. And people should check it daily..you can check if the sav should have been sent to you and you can ask the sender to resend. Please Please Please can people do this..I am at my wits end having to follow up on it all the time. I am sure that if i did'nt follow up the game would have been dead long ago and even wonder if anybody would infact even notice.

Arghis..Are you using C3C 1.22 to load the sav...even though we started on PTW we have switched now.

How did you manage to switch from PTW to C3C ?

We simply loaded the sav at the start of the new turn into C3C....This has been achived problem free with two other PBEM's i'm in as well.
I think you'll find that the turn-tracker has been updated now and your email address is in. When ProPain sends to turn, he selects his name, attaches the file when he clicks submit it should be email to you. If you see that propain has sent the sav but you dont have it..you should email him direct.
When you send the sav you selectr your name, submite the sav file and it should tell you the email that it was sent to. I tested it early today When Tunerica's naem was still there and it sent it to Erikk's email.
A few people might get some curious looking emails [blush]

Looks like you selected the wrong name in the turn tracker.
You selected Erikk and the sav got sent to anarres (civ3 [at] danwilliamson [dot] net)
You should select your own name and it will get sent to Erikk.

Then choose your name, enter the year of your turn and upload your .sav-file.
Anyway, i've resend it

He replied to the turn tracker to address anarres, but apparently didn't know that by that he actually sent it to me. [rolleyes] That's why I know. ;)

I emailed to everybody..but i got a few bounces on people with civduelzone address in my address book (anarres and killer to be specific)
I will be on holidays from 25th till 3rd January...and it will unlikely the i will be availble to play the sav during this time.

Does everyone use the turn tracker? Can we use that as it's really easy to see it get held up and we can all hasstle the person holding it....

I was giving people a chance over the christmas period..but from now on expect to be hassled by me more frequently than last year..i found that at the end of last year my harrasment campaign seemed to produce some results. I was to busy in the first half of last year..but with only 2 PBEMs on the go at the moment..i should be able to find the time to abuse slow players more then ever;)
I'm no more in the turn tracker list for the 8 player game ...

I will be on holiday for 4 weeks from the 8th April..and starting a new job after that, I am not sure if i can continue after that(I definetly wont be playing at work!). I think we will need to looks for a replacement player for at least the holiday period. But lets face it without me whipping you to play the sav every day you might as well give up!

I would like to keep playing this game. I think i can keep up with the slower rate of play. So dont count me out of this one..I wont be able to play from the 8th April to the 9th May I am looking for a fill-in player. I dont think it will matter if the replacement player has read other spoilers..i can leave instructions for them to follow anyway.

I dont understand you reasoning Markstar... Please explain why I should have to save? (When my name is listed as last (as it was for 12 days) it means it is with anarres...)

Hi People, Just to let you know that I have the sav. I am busy this week moving house (working during day, unpacking at night, and whatever time is left is "family time") I have asked matrix to play my turn based on limited info that i rememeber from the previos turn. I hope that nobody objects (of course i'm not even sure yet if matrix will be able to play it)
Not today. But tomorrow I'll play.
