View Full Version : There's a game Saturday
This coming Saturday, June 9, I've got a friend and someone else I don't know that are gonna play a game of Civ4. Just extending the invite to all. Probably be noonish Texas time, and probably a quick and small game. Anyone can play, cept the English [assw].
Sounds like fun. :) But time might be a problem. I can stay up until approx. 5/6 AM, which is 21/22 PM Texan time.
I've played direct IP before, but it was on a different computer. I have had problems before on this new computer before, more specifically when I tried to host a pitboss game. Is there a way to check and see if I'm able to play, or to see if I need to do some firewall prep?
EDIT: I'd think 8-10 hours should suffice don't you? Maybe if we do a small pangea on quick.
Yea, it should be enough. And now we hope the ping won't be too high. ;)
well if im out :( otherwise id play. cant you just check it by hosting one now and seeing if anyone can get in?
I could, wanna try real quick?
yes, Simon just beat me on a duel map in like 20 minutes
if we can confirm numbers should maybe try and get a custom map made?
I'm thinking 5 people will do, you think? I'll lock this in for now.

I am interested, but I don't exactly know when I have time...
Warlords or Vanilla?
I only own the latter one.
Honestly I have no idea which version. I think she only has vanilla but am not 100% certain.
dont you need the original to playthe expansion... though i would prefer warlords.
Many apologies guys, apparently the inviter forgot, or just decided not to do it without telling me. Hope you guys haven't spent too much time waiting for this today. Seriously, many apologies.
No worries: I didn't put it in my agenda, which automatically means I forgot it too. [mischief]

No worries. I was late home, even too late for the game anyway...
