don't you get removed automatically if you go red for too long? how do we avoid losing one of our larger alliance members?

I'm not sure where he is, nor how long you have to remain inactive to be deleted (if that even happens). Perhaps someone does know where he is (or maybe someone is a sitter for him).

He is skiing in the Alps. He is coming back on saturday morning (don't know which time zone he was talking about)
Don't whether he entered a sitter and whom.

I'm back, I didn't have any sitter.

krys, next time just ask for one, I'm sure someone would be willing to do it (especially if it prevents you from being attacked by that Hellas guy!).

welcome home!

might it be sensible if we all send some troops to you, to prevent Fortas thinking he can just swan in again?

Why not. I told him to get lost or else I'd send CDZ upon him. Of course this isn't very diplomatic, but then I find this game boring... :D

hmm. maybe I am not the man to help: they will take 37hrs to reach you!

Guys, I'm starting to be heavily attacked. It's all my fault : I have NEVER EVER trained a single soldier. School is starting again, and I have important deadlines in front of me (projects + internship to find). This game is already too time-consuming (actually it's more about logging several times a day than the actual time you spend online), so I can't imagine how it could be if I got fully involved in troops and wars and diplomacy.

So I'm thinking of stopping it at once. Will take my decision these coming days, maybe the RL situation isn't as urgent as it may be. But the game has never been funny to me, so...

to a certain extent it shouldn't take more time at all - just divert your resources into developing troops of high defensive nature, walls etc and they will soon stop coming. villages of your size should be able to get well defended quite fast. I am sure someone locally will shelter your troops until you have a decent mass of them. I would volunteer but am 37 hours away! Don't abandon us....

Yeah, I'm 48 hours away. I find the best way to stop attacks is just to spend your resources before they come, if you can help it. I don't have any crannies, except 2 in my capital, because to protect 40000+ clay it would take waaay too many. Luckily I haven't been attacked.

I am also 40 hours away....
Isn't there anyone closer then?

Guys, I'm stopping the game. I've never been fully interested in it, and these days I have no time anymore to involve myself in it (work, work, work).

IMO you should all pillage my resources before my villages disappear.

Good luck to CDZ ! :)

could you send me as much as you can then, so I can support this army of ours, and maybe even build myself some new settlers?

If only your village wasn't 48 hours away to raid!

Thanks anyway though kryszcztov, you played a great game!

Just saw Shabba browsing this thread, and I was wondering what it was about... only to see that this was an ancient thread. It took me half the thread to understand it's about Travian !! I was wondering what PBEM we were talking about here. [lol] Tells much about my gaming activity these days...

Hehe... yeah, I was deleting spambots, so when I was checking some of the 1 post-members I came across this thread.
