Hey! Stop hijacking the thread :p

Ok, as promised, here's the starting locations. First one is Bismarck. I didn't settle yet as he was 1 tile to the West. I was thinking either settling where he is now, or one more tile SE. This is a large terra map with 10 other nations, so I'm up for suggestions.

This one is Saladin. Settled on spot I suppose one tile SE would have been much nicer though.

at first I thought that this game was the one that akots is making a map for us here at CDZ...

I'm curious why you decided to move Bismarck. I personally think that you had 2 good starting spots. Germany seems to be on the west coast which would be good for scouting the new world continent that is in the Terra script

Hmm, that's a good question Tubby. I moved Bismarck because....because....I guess I moved him cause I thought THEN he'd have access to 2 tiles with 3 food. I think I play my turns too quick, although city placement isn't my strong point. Hey, I have plenty of chopping to do right!?

Do you have new screenies

Here's one of Bismarck. I've found where the Greeks are, and I've also run into the aztecs. Looks like I better get on the diplo pretty quick as they've both got aggressive early UU's.

This sucks........nothing but jungle for miles and miles. I do have sugars and dies, so maybe I should start working a way to the calender approach? I should have buddhism in 2 unless someone else got a start with more gold than I, which mine would equal a big fat ZERO! I think I got rooked on this starting spot.

Hmm, maybe I should split this up into two threads. You think?

no keep them together as long as you can distinguish the advice/spam to the seperate civs

Keep them in the same thread. Btw do you know where your 2 civs are relative to each other

From what I'm guessing, I think Saladin is somewhere in the North East portion of the land mass, and Bismarck is on the E/SE portion. I know the Greeks are very close to Germany (SW). I've also had discussions with the Aztecs about a technology pact. He's also willing to pounce on Greece as well since the guy playing Greece also has Rome!

Dang, over a month. You know how it goes though, especially early on. Not much has changed. Although I am beginning to consider possible second city sites. Any suggestions? Saladin and Bismark (3080 BC) below.

Probably December 26th through "about" January 7th.

Also, in case you guys are wondering why Berlin is at Pop 1....well, I did something stupid. I pop rushed (at a cost of one German faithful) a worker. It was gonna take 14 more turns for the worker, but now it is taking forever to stinking grow back. Oh well, lesson learned.

Update:

I've spoken with Klammi (English/Russian) and we've put together what we believe to be a working map. He, along with Podraza have both signed on to taking on Teaolus (Rome/Greece).

Unfortunately this game was put down. Could have been a great game with these settings, but I should have listened to Whomp.....don't start PBEM's on CFC. Oh well.
