BCLG - if you read this you are probably drunk and better go to bed ;)

Pregame thoughts:
Haven't seen the save yet. akots made it.

The players:
1. BCLG
2. Ynnek
3. Alexander - AI
4. Kublai - AI
5. Saladin - AI
6. Qin -AI

We decided to go for a Ring map which should be a nice one for MP.
This is my firt PBEM ever, second MP game after the CDZ Pitboss game.

I decided to be Mansa Musa. I like the Spiritual trait cause of flexible civics change. Financial is also one of my favourite traits in SP, hope it works in MP as well, especially on the Ring map where cottages should be easier to defend than on normal.
The UU is not that good, especially cause it is not on my normal research path.

BCLG chose to be Catherine, so Financial too.

I think I'll try for a Religion to get an early happiness boost.

I'll decide that after I have seen the save.

So, I played my first turn.

Here is what I got after moving the warrior to the hills:

I decided to move the settler to the hills where the warrior is standing and settle there.
I'll use the FPs for a GP farm later on.

I scratched the thought of going for a Religion and rather capture them. I'll probably go for Pottery first (after Agri) while building a Worker at size 3 or so. Then I'll go for BW and then for Archery. That's my plan for the moment.

I met Alexander to the west.
I have finished researching Agri and started building a worker at size 2. I am researching BW which should then be followed by Pottery. Maybe I'll then research my UU to rush a neighbor if I have Copper for Axes.

I just made peace with Alexander. A worker of his was begging my warrior to capture him so I declared and got the worker.
As there are no barbs the worker is peacefully running home. Due to a stupid move I lost my warrior to an archer but still think it was worth it, that worker will speed things up a lot.

BTW I killed a Scout of his which was already past my location but was moving back.

So, small update, taht second worker is doing his job nicely. And I have founded a 2nd city which even costs 0 maintenance. Researched Pottery, rushed a Granary in the cap and started building Cottages.

I am interested to see whether BC founded Hinduism, but that would plain make no sense IMO.
I am trying to go for a route of outresearching.

1200 BC...

I have met BCLG and Saladin. I am behind in tech but I have MC which the others don't have.
I have founded my 4th town, BCLG has three:

I think I still like to expand peacefully, hope that BCLG doesn't send too many galleys with units...

The game is running fast at the moment.

We are at 475 BC.
I have builtthe Pyramids in my capital.
Still I am the only one who knows MC, I also know Machinery, but I am behind on the other parts, but slowly catching up.

BC has built TGLib this turn.
I am lacking a religion, but let's see if there is another possibility to get that...

I don't exactly know whether I should go conquering, e.g. Alex or whether I should expand peacefully.

I'm no expert, but I would say continue expanding peacefully and at the same time build up your forces. once your borders touch an AI.. attack and expand rapidly

Here is a picture at 680 AD.

I have more cities than BC but he has some more techs.

No further wars yet.

I am researching Education(should be a few turns ahead, he just got paper) and hope for getting Liberalism first.

I am still expanding peacefully, I have some more space and I couldn't get to a decent number of forces soon, I guess.
