They are looking for a couple more players.

I think the logic is that if you're willing to deal with those hurdles to get in, you'll actually stay around and play a while.

got mao zedong again, im him in civIVor but that protective trait seems quite a bit of a waste.

Protective meaning free garrison and first strike promos to archery units? Means you can turtle up in the early game without bronze.
aye but is completly useless after that.

Way to make a splash there, Matrix! [beer1] [python]
Thanks! That's the only compliment I got. The rest is all "Hey, you can't do that!" http://www.straland.com/images/smilies/ack.gif
i was supporting you throughout :) if a rollback would have happened id have stopped playing.
What was the final outcome?

The same as when Hitler annexed the Sudetenland. A bit of hand-wringing, some tepid justification, and the dust settled on the new arrangement. [lol]
And yeah, if they'd rolled the game back, I'd have dropped as well.
Personally I'll focus on GreatScott if I'm next to him, the damned peacenik. [karate]
Anyone up for a CDZ/CFC alliance in this game? We've got Matrix, BCLG, Azza, HitAnyKey and I among <s>32</s>31 players, and I know at least Matrix and BCLG have pretty good MP skills.
Hehe... Not a bad plan. ;) But we're not supposed to have diplo talks if we haven't met yet. [mischief]
i thought we were allowed in this game :S are we not???
worth thinking about, with tech trading turned off would be primarily military related :) not sure whether HAK could be pursuaded though he's on evg/stratgamer whatever its called quite a bit :)

Ugh, do I really have to go and look through the rules now? [cry]
Yeah, seems like an alliance would be mostly trading units - I've got axes to trade for horsearchers, etc.
If you gift someone a Praetorian, does it revert to a sword when they get it?
nope it remains a praet, you rome?
ive got my cho ko's i can share if need be :)

I'm one of the two Romes, yes - I guess it makes sense to have East and West Roman Empires, eh? [lol]
lol, which one are you then? ;)

By the way all, this game has openings as a result of player drop-out (including BCLG) - if you've read my spoiler up to this point please don't take either of the now-AI civs as I have as neighbors now, but BCLG and a few others are open.
My civs pretty good if anyone is interested, my comp couldnt handle the pressure of the game but i had build queues set and a rather unorthodox start that seemed to pay off :)

There are two more openings in this game (or at least, probably will be shortly).
After subbing for matrix i can see that my system can now handle it, so i could take over a spot if im allowed.
