Still just over 15 minutes to go but it doesn't look good for me - 5-1 down :(
Edit: Yup, ended 5-1 :/

Anyone thinks that PM-trainers only have advantages in this game?
My game today is the prove that it has disadvantages as well.
I played away vs a Scoring trainer and thus I knew he could field his first midfield.
I would have needed my best players who played on saturday to beat him in midfield.
He had passable low in midfield. No way I could beat that away otherwise.
So I took the only option that was left. For the first time in my HT career I played CA. And that as a PM trainer...
Surely I PICed and only played with 3 IM in a 4-5-1.
Got two reported normal chances and three CA chances, still scored only once and thus I lost to a SE 2-1.
My GK got bruised and the best of those IM got injured for three weeks.
I won 3-0 on a PIC. The next team has a 20k ground so I should get a bit more money and he looks beatable.

won 0-1. My opponent almost got the best of me but that is irrelevant.

I won. I dominated, but my opponent played pressing, but my GK scored from a SP event. Best thing of the match: my TS is now in the clouds.

Amazing victory!!
I forgot to line up which left my 2nd WC midfielder benched and with my 1st reserve injured for 4 weeks some 1.5/2 star dude will surface. I;m thinking this might get hairy. My opponent apparently did his homework and decided that his midfield wouldnt cut it and decided to CA. His MF: weak (very low), my MF : poor (very high) [lol]
I won 1-3
First time ever I got an advantage for not lining up and ending up with a below par midfield. Funny.
Won 0-8, but their were 3 steep injuries in the game... fortunately, mine was on an oldie who only plays cup matches in the first few rounds, to up his exp for a coaching job, and only +2 on top of that.

Logically lost 0-7 to a D.V team. I didn't have any scoring chance, despite using a 4-3-3 with much offense (so as to gain routine), but I had 10-14% possession. [mischief] Of course I PICed it. The 2 good things of the night are the money (this will be my best week regarding money ever until next season, I guess) and just a bruised player : my newbie, which I can now fire. ;)
I got my ass handeed to me as expected those teams in Vth division can still beat me with their eyes closed. I did get my best defense ever. And got my TS back up to calm. the worst thing is that I will most likely loose supporters for the first time in my career. I feel somebody is going to be sacked!

I'm already 0-4 up, only 24 minutes into the game.
Unfortunatly only 3600 spectators came for the game :(, I was expecting more since the team is in the same div I'm in.
EDIT: 0-5, 29 minutes in.
EDIT2: 0-6, 31 minutes in, I'm now crossing my fingers to prevent injuries.
forgot to line up, lost 5-2, but had no chance anyway

I managed to get a sizeable income, but lost 0-7. So I guess I can go update my team info sheet now.
btw, I'm available for challenges now for you other losers. I don't care if I have to travel.
lost 0-3.. made good cash and PiC'ed so all is not lost..
I won 3-0 (I think). Next round looks pretty hard. It may be my ticket out of the Cup.
Hmm, i got kicked out of cup real early, I need a friendly, who is in?
