Now this stuff is too good not to count as spam.

One common mistake is to use unescaped % in your command, you have to escape them (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crontab#Examples)

Chinese Style He becomes better.
American Style He got better. (http://www.englishdaily626.com/c-mistakes.php)

9.) Transmitting Personal Information On A Unsecure Connection (http://familyinternet.about.com/library/weekly/aa052403a.htm)

2. Failure to complete the self-employed pages, particularly on page SE3 from box 3.74 onwards. (http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/sa/mistakes.htm)

Also some mistakes are made if we are familiar with a language that sometimes has similar syntax, like PASCAL. (http://www.manualy.sk/c3/chapter2_11.html)

Anyone got anything better?

the second one reminds me of a joke that our English teacher used to tell:

A German in an English restaurant after waiting for some time: "Waiter, when do I become the beef steak"
The waiter: " I hope never, sir"

In German: bekommen = to get
werden= to become
