This Saturday the International Summerparties start in Nijmegen, accompanying the 4-days marches. They last till Friday July 21st.

Since I'm home alone (my GF leaves that morning with her mother for a short holiday) and I feel like partying I invite you CDZ-ers to party with me! Plenty of space to sleep, plenty of drinks to drink. A filled fridge with food.

I'd like to have conformation of who will come and what time and if you want to sleep over.

Friday afternoon (around 13:00) I'll be watching the Intocht. This is very nice to see the walkers be welcomed back in Nijmegen. It should be no problem to enter Nijmegen by car in the daytime (exception: from Cuijk).
Who will be present in the aternnoon already ??

Friday evening it is best to go to town around 20:30 / 21:00. Traffic will be a crime and it's too far to walk, taxi's will be difficult to get and I don't have enough bikes, so transport to the city will be by bus. Back out of the city will most likely be by taxi (we zien wel).
Who can I expect to come in the evening ??

I have a 2 person bed and a bed in the guestroom. I also have a double matras + 1 single matrass.
I don't have enough pillows / blankets etc. so please bring your own.
Who will sleep over ??

Not really a race, it is one of the biggest walking events in the world if not the biggest. Heat and dehydration were the main causes for the fatalities. The whole walking event has been cancelled now because of the expected prolonged heat.

Nice guess. ;) But it's more complicated. The "Vierdaagse" is a famous four day hike. And "feesten" doesn't mean "festen", but "fester". We don't have your weird Scandinavian article. [tongue] (But that doesn't matter much in this context.) So it's the parties the come after you've had your long trip. But those haven't walked are also invited. :D
