It's MMORG and it aint madness it's an obscene profit for Blizzard Entertainment.

Guild Wars must be bad, they don't have to pay a monthly fee to play it.

Oh wait...

A collegue of mine plays world of nerdcraft, and we figured out that blizzard receives about 48 million euros a month from the monthly fees. Excluding the base cost of the game itself.
I think I already mentioned it in the other thread, but personally I think wow-players are insane and should pick up guild wars asap. But then again, no one ever listens to me [banned]

You know, if WoW was published by EA games no one would be playing it.

Yup.. I am playing Guildwars too, but I do not play WoW or everquest.

If you want to play Guildwars with me you can find me playing with my monk Amalia Alexia, my warrior Ideale Schoonzoon or my elementalist Heet En Lekker

10 dollars (so about 8 euros?), which you get back in "tickets" that you can spend on packs of cards and stuff. Apparently, if you can find the right people there are a lot of folks giving commons to newbies, so it could be very cheap. Or expensive, whatever you make of it, but that's just like paper magic I guess.
