So i got Mao not a great civ imo but then i got this start and things went from bad to worse!
Started on bronze and will see if i can get some bronze near me, not sure what to do after that but will take each turn as it comes.

Gonna have my warrior scout a bit, see if i can find a patch of grass but i doubt it.

All of them forests in my immediate vicinity are 2 food one hammer i think, i have wale or whatever it is north north east as well but i forgot to turn control+r on, ill do that next time.
I just hope theres somewhere south where i can put a city or east or west!
Holy cow that is one icy berg there kid. As Gyathaar said at least you'll be the crab king and no one can sneak in your backdoor. Might be worthwhile getting a work boat out at some point for food.
Tell me about it, WB might even be out before a worker.
only good thing is that ive got a warrior every 8 turns so i could maybe get a few together and go wipe someone out.

getting a warrior in a bit as well.
finished my warrior and BW started on AH after i couldnt find much bronze, i could do with a resource of some sort, started straight away on a settler.
Settler is done in a few turns, going to settle on a horse/silver incense in a border expansion combo however isnt much room for growth there tbh

My new city, was a choice between this and a copper city further away. So i choose the horses/silver/incense city. im waiting for beijing (soon to be renamed bcjing) to grow to size 3 before i build a worker and maybe chop another settler.

I would be abusing your poor crabs to grow big quickly. Just my $.02.
yup, completly forgot about them, going to go fishing after writing so i can get a couple of Work boats out, so i might chop them.
one thing to do...is to build the worker in the new city. Let the other city suffer a bit but get the new city up and kicking so you can get the copper sooner. I know its your capital..but you may just consider it to be a "fishing village" for now and let it take care of itself. Whipping/chopping a lighthouse might be better...here is why. Lighthouse give you 1 food on the sea....equalivalent of two workboats if you work both crabs...then while you are growing you get out the Workboats especailly since you dont "need" the health of the crabs yet.
You have to go crabbing...mmmm snow( or king) crab legs.
Well the copper is quite a way to the right of bclghei, i was thinking of building up an army of horses and then just using said army to go on a rampage, im going to let bclghei get to size 2 then switch to worker, pasture the horsies and road to (soon to BCjing). Then just finish barracks and pump out horses for awhile :)
by this time bcjing should have finished a couple of workboats, both chopped i think.
Ok well i'll post a picture next time i go in, got a collection of 5 chariots on their way down to monty, have made a tech alliance with everyone around me which basically means im not researching but they give me techs. me and whomp are playing this game like puppet masters. Im building up a collection of gold to mass upgrade my chariots into horse archers, they should be fairly promoted after their war with monty.
Got them work boats out, 3 of em. and BCjing is at size 5 shortly size 6 with bchei.
Another bonus is even amidst my crappy land i have 1 source of iron inside my borders! and another one v close to them.

i got bored so Dr yoshi is also dead
and now RB has declared war on me to avenge the death of yoshi so should hopefully bring in another person to 'beat' me-im the most powerfull person now so im not too worried with my raging horse archer hordes...
i'll try and remember to post some pictures.
took one of RB's cities then went for peace-he's now whomps vassel so ill probably whack him later
his my demographics screen this time-all i could be arsed taking a picture off- i think im doing pretty well especially considering everyone is planning a dogpile on the person in first in gnp (Azza)

im lining up an attack on de lorimer (to the south west of me) with igloodude and hitanykey, he has a biddhist holy city but as it is too far away to keep i may just raze and then spread the religion.
hmmm well a lot has changed since then, i should really do an update :)
and things are about to start getting saucy really think davemcw 18 player game and thats basically what looks like will start happening this time.
ill hopefully get a load of pictures next time i go in, once current builds are finished im on complete military builds.

ok pictures ahoy- and its all kicked off-because of a defensive alliance i have with an ex LAoD member it appears im at war with all of the LAoD.
Whomp and mauer have also decided to cut diplomatic ties with me, thus i imagine in about 10 turns i shall have them on my case.

If you do get everyone attacking you the best way to break them apart is to single out a couple of them for extra punishment while just defending against the rest. Nothing kills the will to fight better than seeing all your units disappear while others keep theirs

ah just an update to this at about the same time i met a lady friend and thus being able to log in all hours of the day i also ahem died, it took the entire rest of the world to kill me but still i was dead :)

Well, like Whomp said "We chose the wrong horse". Sorry BC, but LAOD is all that's left now, as they've destroyed the Triumverate and both of our horse archers.
We would've been doomed versus BCLG anyhow. In hindsight, we should've fought against LAoD and then ganged up on BC. At least we would've had an outside shot.
My science in that game was the worst I've ever seen.
My production was shameful. My science would have definitely benefited from another city or two as I was running 100% and still making money.
