Are war elephants good in PBEM games? if so then are you gonna make a beeline for them?

Not sure about them in PBEM. Most of my plan will depend on my relation to my human neighbour in this game.

I now have my 2nd city and another settler is on its way to claim the gold. I have a tech alliance with Darkness who went for Alphabet, while I took the lower path towards Iron Working.

I founded Hinduism, the other 2 religions have been claimed by Hatsheput - very good!

It is 150BC now. In the meantime almost all the land has been settled. I have been the first to Music and put the Great Artist into Maccu Picchu to strengthen its borders. Techwise Darkness and I are still doing well, while Kemal - judging from his score - shows an impressive performance on his own. Matrix is way back it seems.
