Barbu - VS - Whomp (CIV IV) ####SPOILER####

Here is my CIV4 PBEM debut.

I'm Playing Catherine's Russia (interesting, the same civ from my civ 3 pbem debut, althought she aged realy well)

Whomp is playin Ceasar's Roman'c

All the civs are were random, We asked for continents with 2 pet AI, level, Prince. Akots, got us those specs [thumbsup]

So we have:
Whomp as Caesar (Expansive +2 health, Organised -50%civ upkeep), Fish, Mine
Me as Catherine (Creative +2Culture/city, Financial, +1gold on 2gold), Hunting, Mining
AI-1 Napoleon (Agressive free promo, industrious 50% wonder production), Wheel, Agriculture
AI-2 Huyana Capac (Agressive free promo, Financial, +1gold on 2gold), Myst, Agri
AI-3 Hatshepsuth (Spirit no anarchy, Creative +2Culture/city), Wheel, Agri)
AI-4 Elizabeth (Philosophical +100% great people, Financial, +1gold on 2gold) Fishing, Mining.

I have decided to go for Judaism. So Masonery seems like a good starting tech.

Finaly, a second scout should give me a good Idea of the lands (and hopefully get me a few huts).

It's time for a looooooooooong overdue update.

Things are progrossing smoothly:
-I have have founded boudhism at the start and then went for alphabet.
- Egypt is my friend. We have done some technology trades.
- Napoleon is not my friend as we have different religions.
- I have 2 missionaries going to egypt by boat right now (I canot get Napoleon to sign a right of passage)
- I made a mistake on the begining. Looks like Akots ofgot to change the desert tiles to flood plain tiles. So St-Petersburg the growth city, has taken lots of time to grow.
- I've finaly connected my horses. I have no metal for the moment. Let's hope Iron working has some.

Quick update, napoleon seems to be getting away techwise on our continent. So I decided to attack him in order to get a few techs from him and convert him to boudism.

Tour is taken. Probably my the only city I'll keep, the others are too bar away, they'll be razed, but we'll see when the time comes...

Good game B. It seems like getting a religion caused a lot of problems. It seems like it's almost a disadvantage against AI to have it but with human games it helps purely for seeing into others cities.
