continents, Emporer. Barbs are sedentary or roaming I think.
We both have decent starts, Meli has more grassland/wheat=food, I have more plains/cows=shields. See the open thread (http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=319) for start pics.
001 - get warrior code from hut, nice.
004 - meet aztecs, dam their close! 7 tiles away...
006 - meli tells me he has popped 4 huts already!! 2 techs, 25gold + a settler... oh shit!!!
009 - wheel from hut, yay!
012 - masonry from hut, yay yay!
018 - meet the english, trade masonry and wheel for alphabet, BW and 60gold (all elizabeths gold). put my research to writing on min sci.
023 - Found Medina with 3 cows in it's 9, +1 more in it's 21 [:O] Hehe, I'm gonna love this town :)

Early plans are basically trash the aztecs asap, they are sitting on silks and with them gone I have the whole northern continent to myself. I'll probably wait till horses but no longer.
