Hattrick announces
12-09-2005 New tactic type
You can now tell your team to play more creatively. This means that they'll go more for special events than normally. If both teams in a match decide to play creatively, the chance for special events will increase even more. The chance for both negative and positive special events to happen will increase. Also, when playing creatively the team will be less focused on the defense. Playing creatively will probably be good for well SE-optimized teams.
This tactic type can be used immediately.
12-09-2005 Upcoming changes
We want to flag for upcoming changes to forwards and wingers after week 7 this season.
* Ordinary forwards will contribute less to wing attacks.
* Wingers (all except towards-middle) will contribute a tiny bit more to wing attacks.
* Introduce a new individual order for forwards; forward towards wing. These players will use scoring and winger ability to increase wing attacks. We'll also include a new training type for these kind of players.
Argh, looks like life of us scoring trainers has just been made a lot tougher, my trainees all have poor winging so they can't make use of this FTW option, while scoring skill has devaluated and thuis will be worth less on the TL. [cry]
Also, the fact that wingers contribute more to the wing attacks means 3-5-2 players will do even better than before vs similar skilled 3-4-3 players.... they have 2 wings thus their attack goes up significantly, whereas the attack of the 3-4-3 player goes down because of scoring skill losing value. :(
On the other hand, the new tactic type looks refreshing,my A-squad has 3 header, 1 unpredictable and 2 quick players (1 winger, 2 midfield, 3 strikers), so I'm going to give this a try in the first league match... even though I risk giving away chances as well via my inexperienced defender and unpred mid. If this tactic turns out succesful, maybe my specialist trainees could actually rise in value a bit, since it seems this tactic could be a good way of dealing with extremely defensive teams relying on huge defensive ratings.
