I always liked the "God has given you one face, and yet you paint yourselves another" reference to womens make-up in Hamlet... :) There are actually quite a few good quotes in Hamlet.
I've got it in my book collection back home, so maybe I'll got find some of the others tonight. Just maybe though... [:p]
3 good ones: Do you know the author or book that they are from?
quote:"Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once."
quote:"Life and death appeared to me ideal bounds, which I should first break through, and pour a torrent of light into our dark world."
quote:"Soldiering, my dear madam, is the coward's art of attacking mercilessly when you are strong, and keeping out of harm's way when you are weak. That is the whole secret of successful fighting. Get your enemy at a disadvantage; and never, on any account, fight him on equal terms."
- macbeth
- Frankenstein
- Arms and the man
Is that close?
"and they lived happily ever after"
:D
