At Neva_L£ave_the_back_ Arena, 3794 punters turned up, and despite threatening clouds at the horizon, no rain came. Neva_L£ave_the_back started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Coates - Vyas, Carr, Spindler, Barkley - Sawyers, Floyd, Williams, MacCruithein - Relay, Riezebos.

Wartham had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. They fielded: Mañes - Feyko, Mazo, Boudot - Gabriel, Hillerup, Donner, Mika - Rowan, Ryan, Nouwen.

In the 4:th minute the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending and Tony Rowan put the ball away for 0 - 1. Warthams counterattacks were lethal to the opposing defense, allowing Felix Donner to score easily from the right flank for 0 - 2. In the game's 23rd minute Neva_L£ave_the_back´s Charles Barkley limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The visitors Tony Rowan took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side´s goalie and central backs in the 24:th minute. 0 - 3 for Wartham. Quintin Mika was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the enemy box - Luc Nouwen managed to kick one of them into 0 - 4 in the 27:th minute. By now Wartham were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. The visitors Felix Donner took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side´s goalie and central backs in the 28:th minute. 0 - 5 for Wartham. 32 minutes into the game Ian MacCruithein had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Gary MacDuffie. After 42 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Tony Rowan who increased Wartham´s lead to 0 - 6. At that, Tony Rowan was noted down for a hat trick. 43 minutes into the game Maximilian Boudot had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Alec Matthews. Halftime score was 0 - 6. Wartham held the ball, with a clear 69 percent possession rate.

In the 77:th minute Wartham put themselves up 0 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was Gert Hillerup. Luc Nouwen´s speed was made justice as he darted past his marker and struck an opening pass to Tony Rowan who scored the 0-8 goal. The game had been on for 79 minutes when Quintin Mika broke through to the right, upping the score to the home crowd´s dismay. Wartham´s were up 0 - 9. Alec Matthews discharged a majestic long shot in the 80:th match minute, but missed the goal by a few metres. After 83 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Dave Ryan who increased Wartham´s lead to 0 - 10. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Wartham, with an impressive 90 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating Neva_L£ave_the_back player was without a doubt Tom Coates. Taksa Vyas on the other hand, had a terrible day. Wartham's best player was Antonio Mañes. Alec Matthews on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 10.

Not an important game but its fun to score 10 goals, the most I've ever scored in a game.

Go arne go!

Am quite happy to win this one. MOTSed it. Was a bit worried after one of my inner mids was send of after 40 minutes.
I can hardly miss the championchip now. I only have to play the lowest three teams and they really stink. While my competetors(nrs 2, 3 and 4) have to play each other.
But than again, I could of course suddenly have a lot of bad luck.

An absolutely incredible match today for me, clearly this is what Hattrick is all about, can't wait to promote away from those boring 6-0 vics every week. After some really tense late moments Snaken manage to take a point back to Utrecht, and continue their unbeaten league run to 39 matches.

A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 20000 to Ex1 Arena. Ex1 tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Garibaldi - Pion, Gyllenblom, Pacey - Justesen, Siggaard, Machado, bin Hamzah, Akmut - Hartblom, Prick.

Snaken started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Mi#322;ek - Lucado, Buursink, Öztürk - Espinola, Fjällander, Rogersson, Halling - Billand, Kronskär, Catanã.

Ex1 seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 14:th minute goal by Freerk Prick for Ex1, putting them ahead 1 - 0. The referee showed Ex1's Per Hartblom the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Jean-Felix Pion behaved like an inexperienced youth player in the 18:th minute as he gave the ball away to an opponent. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Johan Gyllenblom got left behind when Snaken´s Peter Billand made a sudden pull forward in the 23rd minute, finishing off with a swift strike. 1-1! Ex1s Tiago Machado gave, after 28 minutes, the home team a 2 - 1 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Visitors Per Kronskär was alert on a play coming in from the left, making the score a tie at 2 - 2 in the 29:th minute. In the 38:th minute the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending and Peter Billand put the ball away for 2 - 3. In the 38th minute, Snaken's Florian Lucado received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Ex1 were forced to a substitution as Freerk Prick couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Asher Goldshtein to come in from the sidelines. After 41 minutes Per Hartblom made a dash down the middle past the away teams defenders scoring 3 - 3. The referee showed Ex1's Johan Gyllenblom the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The teams went for a half-time break at 3 - 3. Ex1, bringing the final ball possession rate to 53 percent, dominated the battle.

Some quick foot work on the left side of the field in the 50:th minute left Snaken´s Peter Billand completely free to score. 3 - 4 for the visitors. By then Peter Billand was a three time scorer - a hat trick! 71 minutes into the game Per Hartblom was really close to evening the score out with a dangerous long range shot, but the ball went just wide of the bar. In the 72th minute, Snaken's Joakim Fjällander received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Per Hartblom pulled a real crowd pleaser as he, in the 73rd minute, wove through the guests whole central defense line and put the 4 - 4 equaliser away. After 74 minutes Ex1´s Jean-Felix Pion contracted a slight foot injury, but could finish the game. Ex1 were very close to putting themselves one up in the 83rd minute as Asher Goldshtein got through, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. This part of the game had been a standoff between the teams.

The most dominating Ex1 player was without a doubt Ugo Siggaard. Asher Goldshtein was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Snaken player was without a doubt Stanis#322;aw Mi#322;ek. Florian Lucado on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 4.

Congrats to burchtheren, that title looks secure indeed. :)
