Finally after 9 months of looking for a new job and 5 1/2 months of unemployment I have found a new job. If not everything fails, I will move to Stuttgart next week. That is, if I have found a room or appartment, which I can pay for, till then.
Since I do not know where I will live, I can not yet say if I can resume playing the PBEM games I am in during the weekdays. I guess I can continue playing the diplomacy game and at least play the PBEMs on the weekends, till I have arranged telephone and net access.

Good luck! Seems like it's moving season at CDZ... :) First Shabba, now you and Paali in the summer. I gues I should start a moving topic soon too.... :D

Cool, this means the south the CDZ central of Germany since Killer has his ties in Stuttgart as well, smalltalk is in Munich iirc and I am in Ulm (which is in between). [cool]

So how's the situation now? Found an appartment or something?
Yes, I rented a small home for the next months. 1 room + kitchen, bath. In fact it is even larger than I need, since I do not plan to fill it with much furniture. The room should be about 25mē which is more than enough for my wardrobe, table, tv and bed, which are each in one corner. Next task will be to find a home for my family for the next year - and to keep the job of course.
Regarding my activity here and in PBEM games. I will be quite inactive, since I will not have an internet connection at home and I do not tend to do much private things on my companies machines. I will be able to dl my mails and PBEM saves, play them at home and send them back next day from next or 2nd next week on though (as far as my work permits me that time).

i'll be back in Germany soon, let's get together for a beer. Some Friday evening after June 27? I suggest the Hotzenplotz in the Silberburgstrasse, near Berliner Platz/Liederhalle. Answer me here until the 27th, after that my usual CDZ mail will do.
One week ago my family and I finally reunited in a very nice appartment in Stuttgart. I successfully completed my trial time at the new job and it looks like we will stay in Stuttgart for some years now at least.

Nice, what kind of work do you do?
I am head of an IT department in a company that runs some private universities in Germany.
Since I am short of evening leisure time, expect some delays in PBEM games.
Woop!!!! now i wont feel as bad due to my often shortness in playing time!
