Forum went down today around 11:45 GMT+1.

Support was pretty quick to act upon it but it turned out not solvable from a distance so they dispatched a guy to actually connect a monitor and keyboard.

They had some tips about a monitoring tool which we can use to log server performance and behaviour. Gonna install that and see if something is wrong now we had 2 periods of down time in a short time frame.

Keep you all posted.

@ProPain/anarres: CDZ was down for me again this morning. I tried at maybe 8:45 and I couldn't get on (can not find server). Then I tried again at about 10:45 and it worked just fine... [confused]

I experienced the same as Darkness, logging in at about 9:15 or so I think..

edit: also, even though it is a non-issue atm, the ISDG mail-address is unreachable atm for me.

Same here, only just came back on even. I have the distinct impression it had something to do with the DNS tables in the Netherlands. Server has been up all night and morning (other domains accessed ok and I could ftp and remote access it) Apparently anarres didnt have problems as well.

All very weird, but not the server this time.

Next time you can all check ther server by accessing another domain on it (www.fishinacage.nl and www.ctmanager.com for example) If the server is up but CDZ is down, please use the fishinacage site to post comments/remarks etc.

I would like to point out that www.civ3duelzone.com has been down for me all morning as well and I'm in the UK, checking from work.

So maybe not localised to the cheesy regions...
