I noticed that the amount of money you grab after a vic does not correspond with DA and SA ratings and attack turns. I grabbed MUCH less money (with a bit less attack turn amount) with a dude that had almost the same amount of money and almost no DA [u]but</u> I had 2x more SA compared to the attack before.

1st attack my SA 100000, DA 0 - I grab 620k, the guy has Stokkade or Rabit (not sure). His money stack was 1m - I attacked with 15t.
2nd attack my SA 200000, DA 3000, I grab 80k, the guy has Towers. His money stack was 850k - I attacked with 10t.

In the 2nd attack I do much more damage but only grab 10% of his stack. I have 2/3 of the attack turns compared to the 1st attack were I grabbed 60% of the stack...

I noticed this before, some attacks do not deliver!

Is there a luck factor or does, as example, a Tower disables you to grab more money compared to a camp?

It's dependent on the number of opposing soldiers compared to the number of your soldiers.

Yeah, ok. They are not on defense though... But I can buy that.

If that's it I will keep it in mind for the next time.

Do the mistfit's, meli's, DrA's, PP's and Whomps all agree on Shabba here?????

Is it the pop count (apart from the DA/SA) that matters in the looting business????

As a predator, I need to know... [evil]

Definately.

There is a rather impressive formula to decide what cash you get.

Something like this...

(Total Defending army size / Total Attacking army size) * Turns used(1-15) * Gold in defender's treasury * random number(0.5-0.9 by all accounts)

ok?

That formula looks pretty good to me - except I think it must be 'Turns used(1-15)/15'. Also the ratio of sizes cannot be greater than 1 in terms of the gold you get, ie. atacking armies larger than you ensures you get a full '1 times' the amount (instead of a &lt;1 ratio for attacking a smaller army), but I dont think attacking an army twice as big as you gets you double the amount if you see what I mean.

basically attack targets with a larger army (TFF) than yours and a smaller DA than your SA (or probe if you cannot recon/get recon done for you) [hammer]
