It seems we're all here to start Game #4. [groucho] It also doesn't sem any more players are interested in playing Diplomacy, but if there are, then feel free to start a new game. Maybe also change some players between both games ? I will only play one game anyway.
If only one game runs, then we still have the same problem of the order receiver.
I propose we start the game next weekend. That leaves time to choose our nations, and for me to be sure no more holes lie in the rules.
Shouldn't me make up a country pref list again?

The first option seems the best but Stapel played Italy in the last CFC game. As Stapel did not

I don't want to play Russia, and I played Italy last time. There must be a solution where I get one of my first 5 choices? :D

I guess the rules are fairly easy to agree on in essence, but maybe we should discuss deadlines and nmr rulings?
Also should we set in stone the role of a player-GM to avoid any confusion later on?
No problem with the list. I do not think there is anything to change in the rules. Enforcing a nmr on late senders is imho a very bad idea, since an early nmr can completely screw the game for all.

If I am not mistaken we have a list? It was suggested by me, repeated by Erikk, repeated by DrA and no one said here, that it is not ok. So I would say unless krys and Stapel want to swap or anyone objects, we start that way. Shouldn't we?

GMT is an absolute reference. There is no summer change thingie for it indeed. That's why we're using it here : so as everyone around the world can easily translate it into his own time. So the deadline's time changed for us lately, because our local times all changed.

Yes, the forum's time is apparently set up on the CET timezone (mine), and follows the daylight saving time on the 2 days in the year where it changes. So, now, and until the last weekend of October, the forum's time will be "GMT+2", like in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway (?)... It is almost 13:30 in Paris as I'm typing this post, 11:30 GMT.

Hey, I'll be in vacation from this thursday until May 9th. And probably without internet acces.
I suggest we simply skip may 6th moves. There should be no problem with retreats since it is not possible do dislodge any of my units.
Finaly, I'll be submitting my moves thursday afernoon, anybody who has diplo to do with me should do it in time.
How many orders should I get? I've got 6. Is one missing or it is not needed?

I couldn't send mine on time, because CDZ was down. Since barbu is away, and since we're already 3 days late, I propose we postpone the game by a full week. This is the best solution in my opinion. And I don't even mention that I spoke to no one last week. [mischief]

I second that, no problem. Stapel didn't inform us that he was leaving, that he sent orders or not yet, if he needed an extra week. We think it's the safest way to do, so let's skip a week, and that's it. Unless someone has a strong issue with it of course. :)

A super quiet border with Italy (despite Stapel getting nowhere fast on his eastern front) and Germany gifting you Bel, Nice going Erikk!
Yeah, I have done some good diplo but those moves are not that rare IMHO.

So it eventually ends for me tonight. There was nothing I could do against the Brit Bros, and they did a good job to lock me in my lands while keeping peace between them. As for me I understood I was doomed after 1901, so I did nothing to prevent the fate. As a consequence, this game was an utter boredom for me, as I did absolutely no diplo chat after 1901, sending my orders right after the results... [blush2] Well, sometimes you gotta live that. Good luck to everybody. :)

As for Austria-Russia, I am immobilised against Italy and Germany is heading to Russia in the north. Are you trying to draw attention away from your attack on Stapel? ;)
Dunno what to do anarres - as long as you keep your Russian alliance alive, France is not secure. Russia is wide open for you and I see a massive concentration of German-Austrian forces in central Europe. No Russia can defend against that. It's only the Italian fly in your soup that irritates you, right?
Other than that your southeastern rear looks explosive...
There are many options for the next turn, there is no dull part on the board.
I think this is the most interesting diplo game I played so far. :)

ps: there is no remove order from England recieved AFAIK. As England has no homeland I think the fleet must be removed in a 'no remove order recieved case' as the army is on the last English territiry. Too bad our game master has not dealt with this case earlier.

I did not calculated anything else than staying alive 1 more turn. I had to move away from you 2 to survive hope to see next season. As for DrA, I did not beleived 1 minute he would let me stay in berlin. I realy saw no ways of ending this turn with 2 units.
BTW, I have an marcenary army to sell. Who want's it. The fee is not mutch. Let me stay in the game.
@PP, I gess it takes only 1 to get it going, unfortunatly, many diplo players here do not have a forum (I did not when theese games got going)

I'm GM in this game, and so I'll proceed with the majority. However, since I was kicked out of this game by 2 evil siblings, I don't feel like having an opinion on any matter in this game anymore, like grs I suppose. So whatever suits you best, guys, just make it clear.
