Is this the thread we are using for our turn tracker? It would be good to set up a thread just for that. That way whenever someone passes the turn they can post that information so we can see if there has been a problem with the email or something. I am confident that things will progress smoothly once we work through the first turn bugs.

Ok...I do it once....

There is a website http://www.straland.com/turntracker/pound.php. The game we play is named "pound" and it is magically selected by the link I posted. From the box labeled "player" chose your name, from the box labeled "turn" chose the number/date of the turn you just played. Then you use the "browse" button and select the save file on your harddisk, make sure the box "enable upload" is checked. Then press submit. The site will tell you if the save was sent successfully and jump back to the updated list.

Matrix: could you please post the emails after the names in this thread so we have a way to comunicate (if this game gets started some time)?

Uh. So you never recieved a save? Why did you submit then? I don't get this at all. Matrix played turn 1 and sent to BlackWaltz (the only part I am sure of), who then played and sent to you, right?
This really is not that hard. Everyone should check the Number of recieved saves and the number of sent saves. If these numbers are not equal then that player has the save.
As player six I am still only dreaming of ever seeing a save.[saiyan]

That would be correct. I submitted when I was fooling around with the turn tracker, thinking that I could somehow find the save file there, pushing all the buttons that I could find.

I would like to suggest that it makes far more sense to send an email to the person who passes you the save rather than just post a message here and wait for them to visit this forum and read it. This will keep the game moving. Unless it is one's intention to publicly air the problem and slow the game down, you should email the person directly and not expect them to visit here to find out about the problem with the turn pass, or the imagined problem with the turn pass.

Yep, Kingreno got it. The women throw a party for the bride-to-be, giving her lots of nice stuff like fine dinnerware, glassware, etc. Stuff that only gets used once a year (maybe). My 2 younger sisters are hosting the party for her. My father, an uncle, another brother-in-law, and I are going to hack-up a local golf course as no men are supposed to be at the party.

Actually, yesterday, her husband-to-be was on the front webpage of the Salt Lake City Tribune (city newspaper), preparing to fire an "Avalauncher" at Snowbird Ski Resort :) The "Avalauncher" is actually an old military cannon (I think it's from WWII, but not sure) that they use to initiate avalanches, keeping the ski slopes safe from unexpected ones.

RL takes away a bit more time, and more importantly, motivation, for me to keep this game going at any decent pace. I suggest finding a replacement while this game is still small and peaceful (well sort'a[smirk]).
Is there anyone who you guys prefer to take this one over? Or, is there anyone reading this and willing to step in? My spoiler has plenty of detail on the current state of affairs of teh Aztec empire. Please let us all try to solve this one asap. I feel deeply sorry for this as I thought I could manage but my two women are simply more <s>timeconsuming</s> important then Civ, roughly said.

My himble apologies for any delay in the game. I just moved to a new house, so I have had no internet for a while :(. Also, my Civ3 disc got a crack in it somehow and when I tried to play with it it broke into ten pieces in my drive. I scoured stores for a copy of civ, but I did not want to shell out 40 bucks for civ3 complete. I found a way to dl it online and i am back now. I will play the save and pass. Again, my humble apologies.

I have the problem of not having an Internet Access at my "weekday-home". So I can dl the save at work, play it the same night at home and then send it the next morning. That is in fact the fastest possible way for me, but on the other hand I never keep it for many days or even weeks.

I will have to bow out of this game. I am very sorry to do it as I am enjoying playing in it. But I will be moving to a hot springs resort with very limited internet access for the next year. I will do my best to find a replacement for this game. Please do what you can to find someone, as well. Thank you all for playing in this game. I wish very much that I could continue. But I have no idea when I will have steady internet access and I don't want to hold up the game any more than I have already.
