After getting supporter I ended up joining the BDF which at least two other people here are members of.
This thread is about which lineup tool is best and most posts seem to recommend HT ratings

Just thought it would be best to post this in a separate thread rather than the FAQ thread since it could be potentially a large topic. HTratings does seem to have a bug that it looks like the logging in process has stopped after almost completing although it has actually finished logging in. The match calculater is almost completely useless for predicting matches and also I've found that for me it underestimates experience in the tactic skills such as AIM.
It still remains though that these programs even with adjustments are not 100% reliable so its probably not best to rely completely on their analysis but it is a cheap way of quickly looking at what effect playing a 5-2-3 actually has and what kind of defensive ratings you can use.
