Hi all,
Beleive it or not I collect Banana stickers..I dont trade them like some people..but if a see a new sticker i'll keep it. Apparently there are over 5000 to collect. My collection is only about 14 (made of of eight brands (Fyffes, Amigo, Chiquita, Bonita, Hoya, Banarica, Pratts and del-monte) each brand can have slight different labels. Del-monte bananas, for example, come from various countries, thus each sticker reflects the country that it came from.
Today i found a new sticker but i suspect it has come from some other fruit? as i cannot find it in any of the 5000 sticker collections on the web. It is black with #3030 BEGUIN Carte Noire
Carte Niore is a french coffee label, but does anybody know what BEGUIN means? I could only find the following:
BEGUIN - see Beghard. -> some religous freaks of the 13th century!
