At half time:

quote:A scorching day at Power_House Arena, where 7000 spectators were in place for today´s match. Power_House had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Zickus - Arnal, Treacy, Consolas, Kobæk Larsen - Mitroi, Galvin, Rochester, Valenzuela - Ibbotson, Fear.

Wartham started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Ioannidis - Budd, Matthews, Edwards - Laporte, Singh, Moulin, Pelgrims - Wallace, Smets, Ryan.

Wartham seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 3rd minute goal by Simeon Fear for Power_House, putting them ahead 1 - 0. The referee showed Power_Houses Paul Rochester the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser in the 12th minute after a good combination down the middle, but as Guy Smets was to put closure on the raid he couldn´t deliver a shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser in the 18:th minute after a good combination down the middle, but as Cain Wallace was to put closure on the raid he couldn´t deliver a shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. A really bad tackle inside the penalty area in the 31st minute gave the referee no other choice but to award visiting Wartham the penalty shot. Cain Wallace knocked home 1 - 1. In the games 37:th minute Power_House´s Franz Kobæk Larsen fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Franz Kobæk Larsen for taking a dive. Wartham made a substitution in the 39:th minute. Jon Edwards limped off the field and was replaced by Brendan Gietelink. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 39:th minute goal by Tim Ibbotson for Power_House, putting them ahead 2 - 1. The teams went for a half-time break at 2 - 1. Wartham held the ball, with a clear 58 percent possession rate.

I hope I'm not going to regret those two missed chances.

3-3 :\

We finished second because of that point so I'm happy about that but it was about the worst possible way to finish second after having four chances to win and having 58% and then 60% of the possession. At least we only had one injury and not to a player who was playing whilst injured.

quote:35419 spectators arrived at Meli's Manglers Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. People from all of Hampshire had joined up for the derby. Manglers had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Becerra - Carrol, Spreadbury, Bryan - Hautala, Almlius, de Klaver, Germain, Quigley-Parks - Greenwood, Taylor.

Kiwiana had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. They fielded: Olsson - van der Vlist, Edenbrant, Daugherty, Davies - Bonura, Finkell, Haaning, Sloan - McGennis, Brown.

Manglers were mostly trying to use the flanks for their attacks. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 in the 5:th by a breakthrough from Stephen Taylor, who unaided came in out of the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors keeper. Charley Brown sprinted between the opposing defenders after 17 minutes, but the keeper deflected Dylan McGennis's shot. Johan Edenbrant showed why he is feared on the counterattack, scoring for Kiwiana in the 19:th minute to make the score 1 - 1. In the to 38:th minute a very unfortunate collision in the home teams penalty area led to Manglers´s David Spreadbury being carried off the pitch and replaced by Hogan Radley. Manglers had a good opportunity to take the lead as Stephen Taylor came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of Håkan Olsson. Kiwiana took the lead in the games 40:th minute with 1 - 2 after some elegant plays down the middle. Chad Daugherty was the scorer. The teams went for a half-time break at 1 - 2. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Manglers, with an impressive 52 percent possession of the ball.

In the 49:th minute Kiwianas Dylan McGennis received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 61 minutes Kiwiana´s Håkan Olsson contracted a slight foot injury, but could finish the game. In the games 61st minute Beau Finkell nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through and fired from just outside the box, his shot passed just over the bar. A header from Ken Haaning connected with a corner kick after 78 minutes, and the ball ended up with Jeremy Sloan of Kiwiana who shot the 1-3 goal. Beau Finkell came close to extending the visitors lead as he, completely unmarked in front of the goal, lifted a ball over Félix Becerra, hitting the bar. In the games 84:th minute Kiwiana´s Jeremy Sloan fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Jeremy Sloan for taking a dive. After 85 minutes Charley Brown made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to Dylan McGennis who shuffled the ball past the keeper. The score was now 1 - 4. After this Kiwiana lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Octave Germain got left behind when Kiwiana´s Charley Brown made a sudden pull forward in the 85:th minute, finishing off with a swift strike. 1-5! After 87 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Dylan McGennis who increased Kiwiana´s lead to 1 - 6. In the games 87:th minute Manglers´s Octave Germain fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Octave Germain for taking a dive. Kiwiana held the ball, with a clear 59 percent possession rate.

Manglers´s best player was Félix Becerra. Eric Hautala on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Kiwiana player was Håkan Olsson. Kick van der Vlist on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 6.

quote:21525 spectators arrived at Aristocats Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Aristocats started off with a 5-3-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Pinto - Zirngibl, Maassen, Gaastra, Ajello, Gunning - Dalhuizen, van den Burg, Tomic - Timmers, Zengers.

Overasseltse-boys had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Broyles - Nila Novaga, Lock, Merckx - Rundstedt, Aeschbacher, Rauschenberger, Leppa, Nieuwdorp - Ryazanov, Thuring.

Aristocats clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could, using their talent for it. Overasseltse-boys had a good opportunity to score the lead goal but the home team goaltender Armando Pinto saved Tom Thuring´s shot headed for the top corner. A long pass from the defense line of Aristocats resulted in a counterattack that set Wesley Zengers free in the enemy central penalty box, but his finish went high. The counterattacks of Aristocats were deadly and 27 minutes into the game, Wesley Zengers got a long pass from the right flank, making 1 - 0. Aristocats´s Wesley Zengers left the field after 27 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Renato Dominkovic. The referee showed Aristocatss Daniel Ajello the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, Bruno Aeschbacher spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Overasseltse-boys held the ball, with a clear 75 percent possession rate.

The referee showed Aristocatss Wout van den Burg the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, Sandro Nieuwdorp spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. 77 minutes into the game Overasseltse-boys´s Marnix Lock found a gap in the home sides central defense scoring to make it 1 - 1. The referee showed Overasseltse-boyss Franz Leppa the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Alexey Ryazanov was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner which then was extended byGiuseppe Nila Novaga, but the ball went into the frame. The referee showed Aristocatss Henning Zirngibl the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Overasseltse-boys held the ball, with a clear 72 percent possession rate.

Aristocats´s best player was Henning Zirngibl. Renato Dominkovic on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Overasseltse-boys player was Per Rundstedt. Sandro Nieuwdorp on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 1.

Kept the leagueleaders at 1-1 and am very happy with that. He may even have lost autopromotion now! For me, this point means 3rd place and for a first season in 6th class that is mighty fine!:D

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Santa Fey Arena saw a crowd turnout of 7000. Santa had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Arzens - Brommer, Heijster, van Osch - Bennebroek, Hoogweg , Odyak, Mouwen, Mazilu - Brummelhuis, Antkowicz.

Snaken had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Durzyñski - Meesen, Öztürk, Flores D'Arcais - Malmholt, Lucado, Hintermayr, Balyon, Irvine - Harpaz, Böõr.

Santa mostly ignored the flanks in favour of attacks in the middle. Teun Brummelhuis gave his Santa the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. 20 minutes into the game Snaken´s Florian Lucado found a gap in the home sides central defense scoring to make it 1 - 1. Snaken took the lead in the games 25:th minute with 1 - 2 after some elegant plays down the middle. Florian Lucado was the scorer. The teams went for a half-time break at 1 - 2. Snaken held the ball, with a clear 58 percent possession rate.

Snaken´s Sören Malmholt received a play slashing through the home side´s defense in the 49:th minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 1 - 3. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. Some fine manouvering on the left lead to an 58:th minute Snaken goal, making it 1 - 4. Baldemar Hintermayr was noted down as the scorer. After this Snaken lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. After the ball got lifted in from the left Wilm Meesen was on his own in the home side´s penalty area 69 minutes into the game, and should have scored, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. In the game's 71st minute Santa´s Virgil Arzens limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Hadar Harpaz came close to extending the visitors lead as he, completely unmarked in front of the goal, lifted a ball over Virgil Arzens, hitting the bar. In the 80:th minute Santas Xander Bennebroek received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Snaken, bringing the final ball possession rate to 70 percent, dominated the battle.

Santa´s best player was Igor van Osch. However, Teun Brummelhuis made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Snaken player was without a doubt Marcin Durzyñski. However, Sören Malmholt made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 4.

A great end to a great season, while new signing Soren Malmholt started his Snaken career on a low, Baldemar Hintermass made amends by slotting home the 4th goal, which proves to be decisive in the end, just pushing the midfielder to the top of the scorers ranking for the league, bagging Snaken another extra 10K in sponsor money. [party]

Well done KR, and congrats to Meli on the promotion! Bad luck Dell onthe 3-3, but in general it looks like most CDZ hattrick players have had a good season, I personally can't wait for the next to the start already!

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 25000 to SwingStars Arena. SwingStars started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Schulz - Brandse, Haagsman, de Greef - Knoester, Kuiper, Heil, Veraar, Verhoef - Fiume, Sauter.

momento had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Kamel - Estrada, Dawidowski, van Beek - Réczi, Brunott, Pijnenburg, Nuñez, Josefsson - Pedrero, Cusimano.

SwingStarss Vincent Heil gave, after 8 minutes, the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. The referee showed SwingStarss Bram Verhoef the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A speedy charge from the left side of the field put SwingStars lead up with 2 - 0. Casper Kuiper finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle. After 25 minutes momento´s Dariusz Dawidowski contracted a slight foot injury, but could finish the game. Vincent Heil received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 29:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score. Vincent Heil almost managed to score another goal for SwingStars, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors goalie. In the 34:th minute SwingStarss Vincent Heil received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. SwingStars put their lead ahead another goal as Joep Knoester struck home the 3 - 0 goal, after an attack from the left setting him up unmarked with the keeper. The structure of the game started to change as SwingStars decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. The teams went for a half-time break at 3 - 0. SwingStars held the ball, with a clear 62 percent possession rate.

The referee showed SwingStarss Joep Knoester the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Javier Eduardo Nuñez the unlucky victim, couldn´t continue the game, so Hilco Mul had to come off the bench. Danny Brandse almost managed to score another goal for SwingStars, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors goalie. After 72 minutes Kasper Josefsson came close to reducing the score through a free kick aimed at the left post, but Loek Schulz warded the ball off to a corner. A couple of quick and successful challenges, followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area after 74 minutes might have resulted in another goal for SwingStars. However, Dave Kamel made a spectacular save. SwingStars held the ball, with a clear 73 percent possession rate.

The most dominating SwingStars player was without a doubt Loek Schulz. Vincent Heil on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important momento player was Pierre Brunott. However, Hilco Mul made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.

quote:The crowd of 5607 turning up at Kappa Cracka Arena today were greeted by some nasty showers of rain. Cracka started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Jackson - Lozano, Peterson, Fernandez, Davis - Charles, Mcintosh, Davenport, Mason - Winkler, Fountain.

Yellow tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Brown - Falbrant, Slipèeviæ, Fernández - Pilar, Piñeiro, Biler, Berntsen, Örnbom - Train, Tomlin.

2 minutes into the game Ryan Train was a hair´s breadth away from giving Yellow the lead. A prompt block by Dewayne Jackson saved the home team that time. Šimun Slipèeviæ really should have scored when he was chosen by fate to confront a wide open goal after a corner, but he lost his nerve. Yellow took the lead in the games 16:th minute with 0 - 1 after some elegant plays down the middle. Tomislav Pilar was the scorer. In the 25:th minute Yellows Gonzalo Fernández received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, Pierre Charles spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. 34 minutes into the game Yellow were awarded a penalty and Billie Tomlin was able to increase the visitors lead to 0 - 2 rolling the ball in by the right post. Alex Lozano of Cracka received a yellow card in the 35:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Yellow´s Egil Berntsen received a play slashing through the home side´s defense in the 37:th minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 0 - 3. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 3. Yellow, bringing the final ball possession rate to 85 percent, dominated the battle.

After 47 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Miguel Piñeiro who increased Yellow´s lead to 0 - 4. The structure of the game started to change as Yellow decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. Some fine manouvering on the left lead to an 57:th minute Yellow goal, making it 0 - 5. Silvio Biler was noted down as the scorer. Tomislav Pilar was, after 70 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors lead with a well placed diving header but home side keeper Dewayne Jackson saved. The referee showed Yellows Billie Tomlin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, Michael Mason spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. The game was characterized by rough play and many physical challenges. Ryan Train showed great heart and had a good game. In the 79:th minute Yellow put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was Ryan Train. In the game´s 85:th minute a free kick by Billie Tomlin found it´s way through the home side´s poorly assembled defensive formation, making Yellow´s lead 0 - 7. In the 89:th minute Yellows Rickard Örnbom received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 90 minutes Crackas Steve Fernandez had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. Darren Lentz came in instead of him. Yellow, bringing the final ball possession rate to 94 percent, dominated the battle.

The most dominating Cracka player was without a doubt Alex Lozano. Darren Lentz on the other hand, had a terrible day. Yellow´s best player was Silvio Biler. Tomislav Pilar on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 7. The Yellow Boots are moving on up after finishing the season with 42 points and a 78-0 goal difference. I'm happy about multiple things, not only that but also about my top (until last week) striker, who not only finished the season with 29 goals but also got his third consecutive suspension that he won't have to serve (he finished seasons 22 and 23 with a third yellow card too). I'm currently excited to see which series cup rank will determine that I will be in.

The following players had been chosen: Sauter - Previzi, Lonie, Hickey - Fujishiro, Attah-Agyeman, Żetecki, Rieper, Liguori - Hollenstein, Aertse.

destroyers started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Robinson - van Weert, Kapur, John - Cossey, Nixon, Othman, Carroll, Kelly - Buglass, Liddell.

In the 14:th minute Richard Lonie almost put the home team one ahead on a cross pass coming in from the right, but the shot went wide. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 14:th minute goal by Piero Liguori for Toffees, putting them ahead 1 - 0. Some brilliant football from the visitors right wing resulted in a 19:th minute levelling of scores as destroyerss Kees van Weert equalised to 1 - 1. Charles Attah-Agyeman of Toffees received a yellow card in the 31st minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Toffees, bringing the final ball possession rate to 64 percent, dominated the battle.

A well placed corner kick from Lee Hickey was followed by Richard Lonie´s hard but accurate header. The nice combination meant goal for Toffees. The result now 2-1. Some brilliant football from the visitors right wing resulted in a 77:th minute levelling of scores as destroyerss Kees van Weert equalised to 2 - 2. Toffees tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but kept getting stuck on the visitors defenders. Walsh Buglass of destroyers received a yellow card in the 80:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. In the 83rd minute cheers broke out as Pierre-André Hollenstein found his way through the guests central defense line, clipping the 3 - 2 goal in for Toffees. destroyers levelled the score in the 83rd minute at 3 - 3, as Jonathan Liddell struck home after a fine midfield combination, leaving him completely unmarked. Toffees held the ball, with a clear 62 percent possession rate.

The most dominating Toffees player was without a doubt Charles Attah-Agyeman. Victor Rieper was a disappointment, however. The most dominating destroyers player was without a doubt Blake Carroll. Bhirigaraj Kapur on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 3.

The worst thing was I watched the whole 90 minutes unfold. Was pure torture. Every time I score my opponant would equalise within 5 mins max. Three times I had the lead aswell. :(

Only bonuses were I got my highest ever turnout in my new ground of 63741 supporters. Nice 300k+. I also managed to get the top scorer bonus. So that was a nice little add on.

So gutted being so close but so far but as I only came 6th last year in this division I'm definately on the up. Hopefully next year my team will vent it's full fury on my division. lol

Grand finale for everyone. Boots and Kemal have definitely rocked their divisions, Boots having received NO goal within the entire season, that is got to be a record.

For the others congrats for your good finishes, promotions or near misses. Our team has finished third with a walkover game. We have not won the scorer's trophy but we will be going for the top spot next season with a decent chance of making it.

Plux

I ended third too, with second team winning their last match by walk-over. Is that smth normal happening in HT, walkovers?? I feel pretty pissed off, as #2 lost quite some points in his last matches, and if he'd drawn this final match or worse, I would've been #2. I think it smells like cheating, or am I being para? [???]

socralynnek
17-01-2005, 10:57
I'm also third in my league. Won every game against teams 4-8 but got only one point against the first two. But if the teams coming down and up are not too strong, I will promote next season...

Kemal
17-01-2005, 11:09
@Plux: it's really strange, but Arnhem's best, the team fielding the WO squad, arranged a friendly for last week, has logged in all this week as well, but fired/sold almost his entire squad on the 11th of januari, leaving only 5 players to play games with, and thus making the WOs (in the friendly as well as the league) a mandatory thing...

It's really strange as there are at least 5 logins after the 11th, so he does not seem to have abandoned his team completely, but why would one take such a course of action? Anyway, it's really tough on you since indeed the league was very close and you might have made 2nd place had this guy fielded a normal team.

Kingreno
17-01-2005, 11:17
I had it with a team at the beginning of the season. This happens when you get to a very negative economic balance. That is over 500k in debt. You get only 3 more log-ins before the team is expelled. I do not know the details but thye team in my league also sold all but 5 players that time. Perhaps an automatic responce by the game itself?
It resulted in 2 WO's for that team during the season, while the rest were played with a full squad.

Kemal
17-01-2005, 11:24
That might be it indeed KR, though I think it is a bit strange that a team that even without the mass exodus of players in the last week got a positive transfer balance, has never upgraded the stadium, has only a passable trainer and an average run in the league would have gotten in debt for a massive 500K. Where would the money have gone to?

Still, that must be it I suppose, and as said that is bad luck for Plux.

Dell19
17-01-2005, 13:09
Looks like I will be playing for second again as Dukla Southgate will be demoting to my league and they get a comfortable 120+ hatstats rating so I'm not going to be able to beat them unless I get lucky on the last game of the season but that will probably be too late.

Schip
17-01-2005, 13:21
I finished 4th, by goal difference so it could have been 3th. In my third season in the 6th I got 3 points more (18,22,25) so my team is improving. The teams coming down and up are worse than the 2 they replace. I'll be playing for the 3th place again next season. I think I'll need 2 to 2,5 seasons to be able to go for the top places of this league. Probably near the end of my striker training.

Well, we will see next season I suppose.
