quote:7000 spectators had come to CrAcKeRs CluB Arena this cloudy day. CrAcKeRs started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Safe’i - Ruff, Bahler, Agee, Shea - Mustafa, Beutler, Gösgens, Boboc - Myles, Hickman.

Yellow had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Brown - Slipèeviæ, Fernández, Falbrant - Allesch, Mahmoud, Piñeiro, Berntsen, Örnbom - Tomlin, Burney.

Shadi Qassem Mahmoud delivered a good free kick from an excellent position in the 1st minute, but luck wasn´t on Yellow´s side this time, the ball going wide. CrAcKeRss David Gösgens got himself booked after a foul. Yellow were forced to a substitution as Egil Berntsen couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Alejandro Villar to come in from the sidelines. A mistake by the home sides central defence in the 24:th minute allowed Rickard Örnbom to score 0 - 1 for Yellow. Some fine manouvering on the left lead to an 26:th minute Yellow goal, making it 0 - 2. Billie Tomlin was noted down as the scorer. John Safe’i kept the home side in the game with a magnificient save, as Shadi Qassem Mahmoud delivered an almost perfect free kick to the far cross bar. In the 40:th minute Yellow put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was Alejandro Villar. In the games 41st minute CrAcKeRs´s Aden Mustafa fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Aden Mustafa for taking a dive. The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 3. Yellow, bringing the final ball possession rate to 71 percent, dominated the battle.

Billie Tomlin increased the visitors lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 4. By now Yellow were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. Yellow had, after 79 minutes of the game, worked the left side industriously, creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but somehow didn´t achieve closure. Shadi Qassem Mahmoud came close to extending the visitors lead as he, completely unmarked in front of the goal, lifted a ball over John Safe’i, hitting the bar. The game had been on for 85 minutes when Theodore Burney broke through to the right, upping the score to the home crowd´s dismay. Yellow´s were up 0 - 5. Rickard Örnbom of Yellow received a yellow card in the 85:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Yellow held the ball, with a clear 73 percent possession rate.

Most important CrAcKeRs player was Bernt Bahler. Billie Shea on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Yellow player was without a doubt Shadi Qassem Mahmoud. Gonzalo Fernández on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5. My tenth consecutive league shutout this season has occurred. I face a weak team next week, then the second place team the week after that. At this point, promotion is almost inevitable. :D

7000 punters went crazy and stormed the field after the final whistle had gone, and next to the - in dire need of expansion - Snaken Arena, at least as many fans forgot about their disappointment of learning that the match had sold out already, and caused the temporary viewing place at "Hintermass Hill" - where a TV screen was set up to follow the match- to erupt in celebrations, as Snaken trounced the no3 placed ATC 65 to clinch promotion to the 8th league!

quote:
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and FC De Snaken Arena saw a crowd turnout of 7000. Snaken started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Durzyñski - Flores D'Arcais, Öztürk, Meesen - Struikman, Kajak, Lucado, Hintermayr, Irvine - Harpaz, Böõr.

ATC65 had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Meert - Dolne, Del Rosso, Esvelt, Tigchelaar - Dekkers, De Vrieze, Plug, Verkerk - van Maarseveen, Boekema.

ATC65 immediately set off pressing their opponents. At this time in the match, ATC65 were using their skills at the press to successfully put pressure on their opponents. Huub Esvelt got left behind when Snaken´s Hadar Harpaz made a sudden pull forward in the 20:th minute, finishing off with a swift strike. 1-0! 23 minutes into the game Snaken were awarded a penalty that Baldemar Hintermayr turned into 2 - 0 without a problem. ATC65's ability to press their opponents all over the field paid off frequently. A speedy charge from the left side of the field put Snaken lead up with 3 - 0. Laurenty Kajak finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle. By now Snaken were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. With 27 minutes played Hadar Harpaz could have brought this one home for Snaken, had his hooked ball gone in, but it went just a bit too high. The teams went for a half-time break at 3 - 0. Snaken, bringing the final ball possession rate to 76 percent, dominated the battle.

After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Snaken´s Hadar Harpaz got himself booked. At this time in the match, ATC65 were using their skills at the press to successfully put pressure on their opponents. Hadar Harpaz should probably have put his team up another goal in the 66:th minute, but some great goaltending by Jens Meert kept the visitors in the game. When Hadar Harpaz made yet another studs first tackle, in the games 72th minute, the referee was obliged to book the Snaken player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, Fred De Vrieze spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. A speedy charge from the left side of the field put Snaken lead up with 4 - 0. Baldemar Hintermayr finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Snaken, with an impressive 87 percent possession of the ball.

Snaken´s best player was Marcin Durzyñski. IJsbrand Struikman on the other hand, had a terrible day. ATC65´s best player was Huub Esvelt. However, Alewijn Plug made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 0.

Man of the match according to the experts was 5 star keeper Marcin Durzynski, who once again kept a clean sheet, but the people's favourite was clearly set-pieces midfielder(!) Baldemar "Hintermass" Hintermayr, who bagged 2 goals at the night, taking him to 1st place in the topscorers rankings with 9 this season so far.
Even the undeserved red card, or so all present at the scene agreed, of striker Hadar Harpaz could not spoil the celebrations afterwards.
