quote:Due to an all-day shower, 10009 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Aristocats Arena. Aristocats had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. They fielded: Pinto - Gunning, van den Burg, Gaastra, Zirngibl - Dominkovic, Wagenaar, Villar, Tomic - Timmers, Zengers.

JKG tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Sakallieros - Monen, Yalman, van Dijk, Plesa - Vik, Blicharska, Herder, Åkesson - van Klei, Birgersson.

Ruben van Klei came close to putting the visiting team one up in the 4:th minute, following a solo raid down the middle, but Armando Pinto managed to tip the ball to a corner. The referee showed JKGs Tura Yalman the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. In the 24:th minute Aristocats had a chance to take the lead by an awarded penalty, but Roderick Wagenaar´s shot was blocked by Grigoris Sakallieros. 0 - 0 was the half-time score. Aristocats held the ball, with a clear 59 percent possession rate.

The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 in the 48:th by a breakthrough from Henning Zirngibl, who unaided came in out of the right wing hooking the ball over the visitors keeper. A great save by goaltender Grigoris Sakallieros in the 55:th minute kept the visitors in the game as Ernesto Enrique Villar struck from the left with a real cannonball. The referee showed Aristocatss Ger Gaastra the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Aristocats held the ball, with a clear 61 percent possession rate.

The most dominating Aristocats player was without a doubt Ger Gaastra. Ernesto Enrique Villar on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating JKG player was without a doubt Grigoris Sakallieros. Rik Herder was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 0.

Arena: Inter-Nez-Ionale Arena
Crowd: 16125

A scorching day at Inter-Nez-Ionale Arena, where 16125 spectators were in place for today´s match. Inter-Nez-Ionale had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. The following players had been chosen: Forni - McEwan, Fürstenwärther, Buser - Westberg, Taylor, Zoet, Nicklaus - Ríomayor, Meireles, Galvin.

Manglers had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Paiva - Carrol, Spreadbury, de Klaver - Bryan, Turner, Alistair, Davis, Hautala - Greenwood, Taylor.

Inter-Nez-Ionale saw most attack opportunites on the wings and were directing their passes that way. Manglers mostly ignored the flanks in favour of attacks in the middle. Inter-Nez-Ionales Flox Zoet gave, after 4 minutes, the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Adam Davis enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. 15 minutes into the game Manglers´s Walsh Greenwood found a gap in the home sides central defense scoring to make it 1 - 1. Manglers´s Richard Alistair gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead in the 32nd minute with a superb strike from the right. The visitors Stephen Taylor took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side´s goalie and central backs in the 32nd minute. 1 - 3 for Manglers. 1 - 3 was the half-time score. Manglers, bringing the final ball possession rate to 54 percent, dominated the battle.

The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when Moisés Meireles, after a brilliant midfield combination, put the reducing 2 - 3 goal away for Inter-Nez-Ionale. Manglers increased the lead to 2 - 4 as David Spreadbury scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. After 72 minutes Manglers´s Mark Bryan contracted a slight foot injury, but could finish the game. After 79 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for David Spreadbury who increased Manglers´s lead to 2 - 5. As Jamie Galvin had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Inter-Nez-Ionale player a red card without batting an eye. Manglers were forced to a substitution as Stephen Taylor couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Bart Young to come in from the sidelines. Bart Young came close to extending the visitors lead as he, completely unmarked in front of the goal, lifted a ball over Gualtiero Forni, hitting the bar. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the fortyfive minutes.

The most dominating Inter-Nez-Ionale player was without a doubt Jorge Ríomayor. Gualtiero Forni on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Manglers player was without a doubt Adam Davis. However, Bart Young made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 5.

Rain, a completely undeserved loss, and 18 supporters lost because of it. HT-gods love me...

I played 1-1 against the team just above me. My fourth draw in a row. I missed two penalties yesterday, which is a bit of a shame. Anyway, all in all i'm doing better than last season if I win the matches against number 6, 7 and 8. If not, all point my arrows at the CDZ cup.....

Baldemar Hintermayr gave the visitors the lead in the 3rd minute with 0 - 1. The goal was scored from the penalty spot after a handball call in the penalty area. The game had been on for 19 minutes when Hadar Harpaz broke through to the right, upping the score to the home crowd´s dismay. Snaken´s were up 0 - 2. Baldemar Hintermayr could have added one to the visitors lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 2. Snaken, bringing the final ball possession rate to 66 percent, dominated the battle.

After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Snaken´s Diego Flores D'Arcais got himself booked. 72 minutes into the game Snaken were awarded a penalty and Baldemar Hintermayr was able to increase the visitors lead to 0 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post. Hadar Harpaz was, after 73 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors lead with a well placed diving header but home side keeper Anwar Abu-Yaseen saved. In the 74:th minute Snakens Wilm Meesen received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, Zeger van der Zee spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. Baldemar Hintermayr increased Snaken´s lead to 0 - 4 by a superb free kick strike, flying in just under the far top corner. At that, Baldemar Hintermayr was noted down for a hat trick. After this Snaken lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Snaken held the ball, with a clear 65 percent possession rate.

Yellow took the lead after 7 minutes with 0 - 1. Billie Tomlin placed the ball out of reach for the home sides keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. The away team´s Billie Tomlin took advantage of a mistake to the home side´s right in the 22nd minute increasing Yellow´s lead to 0 - 2. Miguel Piñeiro received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 26:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score. The visitors Miguel Piñeiro took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side´s goalie and central backs in the 27:th minute. 0 - 3 for Yellow. Shadi Qassem Mahmoud could have added one to the visitors lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. 0 - 3 was the half-time score. Yellow held the ball, with a clear 86 percent possession rate.

The game had been on for 54 minutes when Egil Berntsen broke through to the right, upping the score to the home crowd´s dismay. Yellow´s were up 0 - 4. By now Yellow were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. After 71 minutes of game time Egil Berntsen received an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Harvey Adcock was in the right place, tipping the ball to a corner. ChingisKhaans Bud Wiggins got himself booked after a foul. In the 79:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as Billie Tomlin finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The most dominating ChingisKhaan player was without a doubt Harvey Adcock. Bud Wiggins was a disappointment, however. Yellow´s best player was Shadi Qassem Mahmoud. Theodore Burney on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5. This was my ninth consecutive shutout win in league play (goal difference now 54-0). I play the third place team next week in a game that should be fairly easy.
