Anyone interested in starting a monarch level standard map pbem or live game using Isak's Rise and Rule mod for C3C?

If you're interested in a live game over several evenings you should be in North America so that our time zones can be somewhat coordinated.

PBEM is open to anyone from anywhere.

Let me know what you think and we'll talk more about the game parameters.

Well basically it significantly changes a lot of the game mechanics and adds a ton of new units to play with.

There's many new government additions, a highly detailed tech tree, and much more.

If you're used to REXing in the early game you will find it tough going with this mod. You can't mine grasslands, only hills, mountains, and jungles. Yes jungles actually are quite productive! No cities can be founded on tundra unless there is a forest present. There are many new civs added as well.

Rise and Rule is huge! I would love to play inn a PBEM, but IMO it should have more than 2 players because is such an epic game.

If you would like to consider a few more players (like 4 or 5) I would love to play. :)

Killer - R&R is like TET on steroids, it's really big and I haven't learned a fraction of it yet.

I'm interested to play RAR mod.
I've 1.02 extended version (I know the 1.03 is just coming out, but I couldn't find any place where download it...).
But I'm a newbee as PBEM, first time here, never played PBEM games before.

I live in Italy (greenwich +1) and I don't know if it can match with your time zone.

Hi Nikox,

I am interested in playing a PBEM with the RAR mod. I am in the east coast of the USA GMT -5 time zone. I'd probably be able to submit at least one email a day and I'm sure we could talk about it some more.

I usually play at Monarch level. What level do you play? Don't worry about PBEM I'll teach you it's very easy. I have the 1.1 version? I'll download the 1.02 version too if you like.

Actually I'm playing it as emperor as otherway AI become too easy to fight in the last eras.

I've all versions starting from the 1.00b to the 1.02 extended, but we'll need to correct the biq file with an editor as there are still few bugs inside both versions. I know the 1.03 is just out, but I couldn't find any place where download it.
Actually I'm playing my own version of it where I added few more flavor units for germans (I'm playing as german, of course..)

Well I will try a game with Emperor settings. I probably won't do too good but I will try! :D

Now what sort of world would you like to play in? I suggest we play a small world with maybe 4 ai players. This will make for a fairly quick game. It will give you an introduction to PBEM type gaming. What do you think?

I'm open to any type map, i.e. archipelago, pangea, continents, etc.

What civ do you want? I'd like to play the Russians.

As this is my first time I just choose to be germas.

For all other settings you're free to set the game as you wish.

Simply let me know which kind of settings are needed to set a PBEM game, so I'll know it for the next time.

..and pls, send e-mails to me as I'm not looking so often at this forum.

Ok I'll start working on a game for us. Usually you make a map request in the map request forum but since not too many people here play the RAR mod I doubt they would be able to set up a map for us.
