My starting location:

Thanks to KingReno for this starting location! The hut gave a map
which was a good thing as I now knew which way to sent the 2nd
settler! ;) In turn 5 a hut gave $25 and in turn 12 Ceremonial
Burial. In turn 15 we meet the Vikings and trade Marsony for
Aplha + 10g.

Research Path: Alphabet, Mathematics

Building plan Cuzco: worker, warrior, warrior, warrior, chasqui
scout, settler, granary, settler

Building plan Tiwanaku: worker, warrior, chasqui scout, Palace (SoZ)

Meet Aztecs, Zulus and Mongols in turn 16 to 26 trade some techs
and money. The Vikings are way ahead in techs and cities. In turn
22 they already had 5 cities! In turn 30 I finally see the Aztec
homeland. It is far away but they managed to settler close to me
this turn! This sucks; I hoped for 3 luxes. In the IT a Chinese
warrior popped up south of the Mongols (to my south-southeast). I
will meet them next turn. What's left are Beam and the Germans.

Turn 30
It is turn 30; the Aztecs and Vikings (both on 5 cities) are building
the Oracle and Pyramids in the capitol. I will be needing 25-30 turns
to finish the SoZ and it is 9 turns to Math. I am gonna need to trade
it to cath up on tech.

SoZ?
What do you think, am I likely to be on time? Right now a wonder
cascade will not happen. I need more AI's to build wonders in their
capitols so that they will build the SoZ in an inferieur city.

Strategy
My main aim is getting that second lux hooked up allowing my cities
to get bigger. After that I will try to get the third lux. For the
rest I don't care as long as I get those other 2 cows spots. I put in
some good-next-to-river possible locations.

All AI's have loads of cows, that's why they grow so fast.

A cow example:

In turn 31 I contact the Chinese and the Germans. The Germans
are at war with the Mongols and behind in tech. I manage to
trade between them and the Zulus gaining The Wheel, Iron
Working and Mysticism and some money. Now I only lack
Horseback Riding on which the Aztecs have a monopoly. It
seems I have no horses, in fact I see only two on the map
near the Zulus and near the Vikings...

In turn 33 I meet Beam, he only got Alphabet extra, for the
rest he lacks all the level one techs.

wow, you guys got the pace going here!
It is good to see the map is as explosive as it was intended, as for the SoZ...I think it will be very difficult to keep it out of the AI's hands, be very carefull you will not loose the shields in Tiwanaku, and be prepared to switch it to another wonder, perhaps even the great Library?
