The title of the forum speaks for itself. But apart from Chess, it is certainly possible to include other great turn-based strategy board games like go, reversi, and checkers.

The forum is supposed to be oriented towards the casual players to make it more interesting and exciting to everyone.

What was planned to include:

1. Chess problem contest
2. Chess news
3. History of chess as a game
4. Greatest chessplayers of all times
5. Discussion of computer chess and online gaming clubs
6. Playing games

So, what else do we want to see in this forum? Please post any suggestions!

I think you wanted to talk about your favourite historical games, or favourite positions (no, not Kama Sutra ! [tongue] ). It could also be interesting to speak and learn about historical champions, their way of playing, their life, their careers... I'll think about more later.

IMHO other games should go to other sub-forums, unless people don't want to expand on them.

The problem with PM is that it does not increase the post count.

Now to get that corrected, you do need a PM.

sort of lost what's meant with the PM posts. But if you seriously want your old pm's removed just let me or Shabba know, I think we have a button for that in the menu.

Well, with the move to Washington and other stuff I've been neglecting this one.

So your location is now lying as you're in neither Houston nor Moscow?

Might come as a surprise but I'm not actually sailing the seas of cheese.

I've been contemplating what to wright there. Washington DC sound stupid. I think I'll put in Georgetown or Glover Park. Still undecided about that.

You could just change it to "all alone in the chess forum".

ROFL, I'd try to participate in some of the problems but I just suck to much at chess.

Since I got an Android mobile phone, I started to play chess a little more often again.

But I suck against low level AI already...
