Yeah that's right! The Little fella is missing again![eek]

The story begins!

Civ: Americans
Level: Deity, but you get a few extra units, and a good startpos.
Barbs: raging
Map: Standard Pangaea, 7 preselected opponents.

***Special vicrtory condition!***

Find Nemo and build a giant Aquarium for him, in Washington!
The Giant Aquarium requires Both Nemo and Nemo's Food to build. You need to locate (and connect) these two resources to build it. The food should not be too hard, but Nemo is a different story. Also, the Aquarium is a Great wonder so if some other civ builds it you lose. [hmm]

Nemo is an inventive little guy and there is no way in telling where he is. He may be located in many places. There is also understandably just one "source" of Nemo, so if an AI has it you need to get it by force!

Naturaly, fastest finnish-time wins!

I will give this one a month or so to run and see who is interested.

For now! Go and find Nemo![cool]

Sounds like a fun game :D. Will try it in a couple of days :). Did you make Nemo a very often jumping resource, or what? And what about the aquarium, you can't win by capturing the AI-city if you didn't build it yourself??

Nemo's whereabouts are totaly unknown. ;)

And since the Great Aquarium needs to be built in Washington it will be very difficult to let the AI do that.[mischief]

Must it be played in 1.22?

I tried to load it in 1.15: didn't succeed. I still use 1.15 for running PBEMs.

Is a duo install possible?

Wow guys! Glad you are actually playing this![coool]

As for the "contest". It is very much allowed to post the finishing date, though with a (say) 3-week-timelimit post it in week 3 or so?

Being back from holiday I will make a new KoD soon![goodjob]

Finished it as well. Very nice starting position and if I am not mistaken you eased corruption a little KR. Thanks for this game. Please post when we can reveal the year of completion.

OK then! 630 AD.

Initial expansion went ok and I as able to settle just beyond the gem mountains. From there the quest for Nemo started and it appeared to be in Egyptian territory on a marsh. Not the easiest place to get access to. I was greatly helped by a Japanese city not so far from Nemo and could settle a city 2 tiles away from Nemo. Meant war with Japan of course but more fun rather than an issue.

At about MT time a complex series of wars started, including Egypt. The right opportunity to conquer the 2 Egyptian cities covering Nemo with their cultural borders.

By the time the Giant Aquarium was completed Egypt only had 4 cities or so left.
